Remember, get vaccinated, folks!

Use more buzzwords, it comes off really intelligently.

The reason it’s “imperfect” is the ethnicity of the director?

who?

I’m in the minority in thinking The King of Comedy is the best film he ever made. It’s a bit more restrained visually, but it’s such an incredible pitch black comedy with possibly De Niro’s finest, least showy performance.

“Too slow.” - Ray Greene

I rewatched Hill House this past week and my god it’s still so fucking good and scary and emotional. I would rank the 4 that came out the same way as you.

It would be interesting to hear the story of how they decided to convert dream-sequence Jason from the end of the first movie into the big bad of the second (and beyond). There’s nothing supernatural about the first one, it’s just an unhinged woman out for some sort of revenge. Then boom, huge undead killing machine.

For some reason this article omits the Moonlighting creator’s last name. It’s Glenn Gordon Caron.

Yeah that was actually a decent trivia question for a while.

Jason X is awful, but it does have one great scene - Jason is lured onto the ship’s “holodeck” where they recreate the original Camp Crystal Lake - right out of the 1980s. Jason is noticeably freaked out, especially when young teenagers appear for him to kill, but he can’t kill them because they’re holograms.

Midnight Mass is the best thing I’ve seen in years, and it’s not even close.

I’m not really a fan of her music, and probably never will be. If you put a gun to my head and asked me to name any of her songs I’d be super dead. But I’m getting a real kick out of the way she fucked Ticketmaster and pissed off the movie studios. Most of all, I’m loving how she’s getting a lot of her fans to vote,

“multiverse MacGuffin”?

A different way to look at this dynamic is that in order for Roz to be so profoundly sex-positive, she needed the foil of the slut-shaming Crane brothers. It’s that contrast that makes her shine so brightly to the audience.

For sure on your second paragraph. I don’t think it’s an insult to Kudrow’s abilities as an actor to say she just doesn’t seem like she would have been a good fit for that role. I love both Metallica and The Rolling Stones, but I sure can’t imagine Hetfield and Jagger swapping bands.

And that was kind of a progressive show for it’s time too.

Sure she always came out on top

the way actor’s brains work is so special.
