I was watching with a mate and I couldn’t shut up about how everyone looked like an Uncharted 4 character. There were moments I even thought I saw texture clipping/motion blur in regions of their faces.

Eh, I love it. I was expecting some blank boxy looking thing so a console that actually stands out is great. I’d prefer a version in black but I can’t help but feel chills every time I look at this.

Okay but not all the AC game trailers are indicative of the final game, even where story and tone are concerned. We’ve come a long way since AC3, sure, but I still prefer to see actual gameplay (in-game cutscenes/dialogue) before I let the hype train drag me o’er hill and dale.

Do you do squats or does your character do squats? Instructions unclear.

Perhaps after spending their lives striking out with women and whatever else that brings them down they don’t want to heap more effort into games?

Gotcha. I plug it in directly and I always play wired. The sound is already excellent to my ears so I s’pose I should be satisfied with that without looking a gift horse in the mouth.

I’ve a pair of Audiotechnica ATH-M50x headphones. Would a DAC or something improve the sound? I’ve no idea how any of this works.

A recent episode of Highlight Reel showed the dying player’s yell being heard in the killcam replay.

Reading this review felt oddly cathartic and I’ve not even played this game. Thanks?

I’ve some ridiculously fond memories wading into my first multiplayer games when neither I nor the other stranger had a mike.

For a second, reading the headline in 2019, I thought this was a gag article on NBA 2020.

My, how the wheels turn.

I think that the actor who portrays Alan Wake is an entirely different character in the game indicates that they’re just easter eggs

My dude, an Easter egg is a reference, which is why the crowbar doesn’t have a half life logo or Freeman’s name on it.

They’re not dismissing other people’s reasons though, are they? Just relaying their own. It’s valid to feel inconvenienced, and this commenter seems to say they don’t even have any particular vitriol over it. They’re just offering their two cents on how a business can retain their interest.

Kinda weird you’re giving the side eye to a developer being respectful—and said respect being appreciated by fans who could separate the developer and their game from the overall situation—but okay.

Consider that MS’ purchases were a wet fart next to Sony’s existing exclusive base.

My dude, if you care about global warming that much, stop wasting your life on games development and make something that will help.

I don't know for sure, but I presume he also did it without firing a chunk of his employees?

Probably not an age thing. Unless you’re one of those young adults who likes to think of themselves as old.

Point taken. My mind just went to the last game I played where you run wild over a city and do whatever the heck you want.
