As an artist who watched her school cut arts/music to build a (toxic) turf field, I feel your pain.

I got more tetanus shots that I needed because switching schools had them loosing my medical records or not accepting them coming from another state. So I got the shots like three or four times. As far as I know I’m a fully functioning adult. Idk...what are the symptoms of mercury poisoning?
This wouldn’t fit into the creationism lesson plan very well. We could try and fit it into health but we’re too busy preaching about abstinence.
Wow that’s really progressive for a high school. I think high schools should really focus on things like that or things like resumes, taxes, purchasing a car (or anything you would most likely need to finance).
Have you seen what they do with their websites? It’s like straight out of the late 90s
Not to mention the how American parents want their kids to be super super competitive yet don’t teach them how to deal with losing gracefully.
I have flagged the posts as harassment and hate speech. I am literally shacking because of the stupidity of these comments. I hope that another less stable victim does not stumble upon this propaganda, a year ago this would have had me back in a depressive self loathing state.
NonServiam’s desire to aid the rape culture and normalization through art has me thinking they are not a victim.
So you disagree that the normalization of rape makes rapists feel validated?
So what? You want to perpetuate rape culture! That’s what you are saying. We should catechize every single artist who throws rape in for what “shock value”. When it’s in mainstream art it is normalized and when it’s normalized your rapists feel validated by his actions.
I think his point still stands. You don’t seem concerned with victims who would be triggered by this. You may not be triggered, and that’s you. Having been a victim of rape and childhood molestation myself, I can tell you that seeing what was described in the article would have thrown me back YEARS of work on my…
Wasn’t Spore like banned by the Pope?
Has anyone tested Netflix connection on FiOS since this happened? I know sometimes it’s my stupid TV’s app that has the slow down so I’m not sure I’ve seen a difference.
Demanding that they respect the huge number of victims by admitting it’s triggering is not an ass hole move. In fact it’s looking out for the emotional safety of a sadly large portion of our population.
I had a box of pretty similar tasting ‘biscuts’ from whole foods. I have no idea why I decided to pay like $3 more for the box, but I will not do that again, despite the cookies being almost Oreos. (I think the sugar was natural or something. They just weren’t AS sweet as Oreos)
Ugh I hate that most things from movies to video games and books fall for the “rape is the only way to show how gritty and brutal reality was in history/war/fantasy”
This is really dangerous. If someone who is a victim ended up at this show and saw this being acted out in front of them that could have emotionally damaging consequences. I would have walked out and demanded not only my money back, but emotional damages as well.
I went on two dates from two of the articles stated apps. One kissed me (was a little uncomfortable with) and then asked if he could show me his dick (no joke. on the first day he was like “Can I show you my dick?” to which I was like “WHAT WHY!? It aint some disco stick I’ll want to hop on from sheer beauty.”). And…
Personally (from a woman’s POV) I like skinny jeans so much more than any other cut. I don’t get them supper tight, I get them fitting just like any other jeans. I have a pair of a really soft pair I unfortunately grew out of that I would wear nearly everyday.
I just threw up a little bit...
