Strasburg isn’t a free agent after the season. He signed a 7-year extension in 2016. HE can opt out this season or next, but that’s not management’s call. And he’d be a world class heel if he does. Also, it would be weird for him to do that after taking less money to sign a mega-contract to stay and then finally

A big part of it is how accurate the heart rate measurement. I like to think my Fitbit is accurate. My cardiologist tells me it’s a toy, and an inaccurate one. Maybe acceptable for a ballpark number (your HR is elevated, it’s below 100, etc) but not for any kind of accurate measurement.

Best part are those tennis photos are old. That’s from when he was restively fit. He’s several decades more out of shape now.

I don’t even know his politics but I tried listening to his podcast and he’s just so bad at trying to deliver a take. He was both cowardly AND illogical. This fits it.

Alexi Lalas.

More efficient planes would justify less efficient cars.

Subsidize trains. If overnight trains were not so shitty and rare, when traveling with kids I wouldn’t mind doing an overnight train trip to the Midwest. Put them in their bunks and watch Netflix. Beats dragging them through the airport and sitting on the runway, etc etc

Look, the lie detector said he actually really likes it.

It’s a real mystery why you have so many ex-gfs they would drink a whole box of tea if they were in one place at one time

There are a lot of middle managers living in suburbs everywhere that think that’s hot. Think of all those people who bought Chrysler Sebrings. BUT ITS A TRUCK!

Is there a reason for dealerships? They seem to exist exclusively to fuck consumers? I’d be very happy to buy cars from amazon.

If there’s a profit to be made, every issue listed above will be dealt with.

Unsubscribe takes about a second and immediately cuts down on shit. I used to keep getting spam from places I genuinely like shopping thinking that, while I never had taken them up on something, maybe I would and I’d miss out if I unsubscribed. But I realized I wouldn’t, so I started unsubscribing and I haven’t missed

Excuses. You’re in our boat now.

The story is just weird and interesting. Calm down. Also, if you like seeing F1 cars on the track, what goes on with the sponsors is relevant.

You want to get it, fine. But don’t keep it. What do you need a dumb baseball for? Kids are stupid enough to think the ball matters, let them have it. Go buy yourself a baseball. If there’s someone in your life that you need to impress by OWNING a walk off homerun ball, stop talking to them, or just lie to them and

See, you make your point in the last two grafs.

This probably isn’t true, but I feel like the requirements to become famous are lower. I mean, you had to be attractive or interesting in some way. A lot of these influencers are just awful in every way you can imagine.

Jesus Christ. I don’t think Jalopnik did anything wrong—if you couldn’t guess Mercedes would be 1-2, you’re not a real fan, and the excitement is always behind the front—but you’re being a dick.

Yeah, but he didn’t. He enabled a violent monster for decades and did nothing to protect the women his son terrorized.
