Why isn't the issue regarding dogs ever about teaching PEOPLE how to safely behave around dogs? I agree, unfortunately. I really would like to give all dogs the benefit of the doubt and believe they can all be loving pets, but pits were bred to be aggressive and violent because of the dog fighting and bear-baiting they used to do.
