I grew up out in the middle of nowhere and you always stopped if you hit a deer. 1) You can EASILY tell if it’s a deer or not, this BS about “thinking” it was a deer is complete and utter nonsense 2) I’ve never had one that stuck around unless it was wounded so bad it couldn’t move, at which point it’s better to put

True, but you should never trust a car manufacturers advertising. Look at Nikola with their “rolling down a hill” truck lol

Right, but if you can only choose between a dozen cheating exes, what do you do?

That’s fine, I was just curious. We ended up buying another VW diesel ourselves as the deal was just too good after they bought back our old one. I don’t think I personally would rule them out in the future just because of dieselgate.

Out of curiosity, what about dieselgate stops you from buying a VW/Audi right now?

I will say I like the short nose. Maybe the roof top accessory is a roof-top-tent given how popular they are these days? It’s certainly a good looking vehicle but well out of my price range.

This car announcement is obviously political. Can’t we just keep politics out of it????

But what do you do about older people or people carrying loads that drive excessively slow? I saw one vehicle traveling down a 65 MPH highway in the last week that slowed down three lanes of traffic by sitting in the middle lane doing 40 MPH.

Yeah, recently had this happen going through Atlanta. I think I was doing 85 in a 55 (maybe 65) going with traffic and then was passed by 6 cars (3 on my left, 3 on my right) doing at least 100-110. Put me a little on edge.

Agreed, to some extent. I understand he may be only on the hook for $6,900 but that is a staggering amount for a lot of people when median household income in the US is only $63k.

If you think that is bad look at the article below. This guy has over a million in hospital bills coming in after surviving.

I agree re: what people buy, to a point. You can obviously only buy from what’s available.

While I agree with most your statement, how do you quantify “most people”? Seems like a pretty bold statement.

Hey, before you start calling people idiots and freaking out, I was actually genuinely asking, not trying to be an asshole. Not to mention, as I stated in another reply, I was even more confused because I was thinking of the Geo Tracker instead of the Geo Metro. Sorry for asking a f***ing question.

Do you say public sentiment towards improving MPG based on the vehicles people buy, or actual public sentiment?

Valid points. I also was thinking of a Geo Tracker when I made my comment, not a Geo Metro. Now it’s starting to make more sense.

Wait, I’m confused. Are you trying to say a 600cc bike has more aerodynamic drag than a Geo Metro?

How long was she up in the air? Like 3 years? My hands are sweating.

Recently did two 11 hour trips (to vacation and back home) in the last couple of weeks and they weren’t bad. We did drive-thru’s for food and avoided everything else except gas stations where we used hand sanitizer and didn’t go inside. We just found “restrooms” via nature :)

I like it, but it seems to be lacking a few safety features. Or...rather...any safety features lol
