I love the way those Alltracks look!

I look forward to vehicles you can drive standing. After having just completed two 11 hour trips, I do not want to sit for a long time.

My mom has driven both a Subaru Impreza and a Ford F-150 when I was growing up and I still love both vehicles. My wife also owns a Golf SportWagon, today’s equivalent of a station wagon.

I’ve always wondered, how do these accommodate for pedestrians/bicyclists? I have been out on sidewalks before after dark and have been blinded by headlights to the point that I had to stop and wait for the car to pass to see again.

Most of me agrees with you, but the part of me that gets blinded every 5 min while driving at night by dumb people with high-beams, or badly adjusted headlights, or LED bulbs in halogen houses, or off road only LED bars/bulbs/pods on disagrees.

I’m hoping this is just one of those stupid internet myths but I was told that if you froze plastic water bottles the plastic got into the ice/water and was not good to drink it?

Trump just proposed delaying the election..we don’t have any feet left to shoot.

It looks like you’re using Safari? That’s odd, I’ve never had that issue in Safari on my phone. I also use Firefox on my desktop and it seems to block most ads by default.

I don’t think car companies will ever get this right. I had to drive for 2 hours with the “Service Airbag” light going on and off every 2 minutes in a 2014 Silverado. Turns out, I put a water jug in the passenger seat that was just heavy enough to trigger and untrigger the passenger seat airbag sensor constantly so

Is anyone else surprised by how easy that flipped? I really would have thought it would have taken more.

Damn, you are raining all over my parade lol. Well this sucks! I guess we’re going to have to do some serious thinking before the next purchase. Maybe we’ll push this one really to the limits and run it until it just doesn’t run anymore, get some extra years out of it. I love the ride, the space and everything, only

Wow, that’s wild! We still have at least 2-3 years (more if this pandemic continues and we’re not driving) before we’ll need a new one, hope the deals are as good then too.

VW paying a premium for the old one and throwing $5k on the table for the new one certainly made it an easy choice!

Interesting, I have never seen that engine before and very good point. That wasn’t available for MY15 when we bought the diesel though. In FL we don’t have to worry about any cold weather, have never noticed anything really different than a gas vehicle other than occasionally having issues finding fuel on long trips.

Not sure what’s wrong with these? They’ve gotten me unstuck before and work great as levelling blocks when needed.

It’s not that, it’s high flow diesel fillers meant for large commercial trucks. The slightly larger diesel filler does work in VW diesels and not in gas cars, but the filler Erin is referring to is even bigger yet.

I’m sorry to be pedantic, but I think you mean same kind of fuel. Diesel is a fuel, but not gas (AKA gasoline). Although to be fair, I’m far from a scientist, so take it with a grain of salt.

US resident here. My wife easily gains more in fuel economy than the diesel engine option and additional cost of diesel. She averages about 44 MPG highway and drives almost all highway to work. It’s easily paid for itself and is saving us even more money. On top of that, whenever we want to take a road trip it makes

Autocorrect version is definitely better.

Multilingual burn (from the hot water). Nice!
