I got hit before too. I switched to mountain biking on the local trails now. No more smog, and no more asshole cars. There are tortoises in the woods that have almost made me crash though.

You shouldn’t have taken the bait from such an idiotic statement... Simply ask for a cited reference next time and wait forever for actual facts to never roll in.
Yup. I hit the same trail every weekend. I can get almost 50 miles in with barely any contact with cars except parking lots and a few stop signs along the trail. Sure it’s not the most exciting ride after a year of this but after all the close calls I got during the pandemic (since apparently no one is paying…
I mean, yeah, there’s a lot of problems in Texas, but this sort of thing happens in all 50 states constantly. Maybe not resulting in cyclists being run over, but douche-bros harassing them, and if/when it goes wrong walking away with minor consequences.

This is America, you could easily have 5 adults at 300 lbs each onboard, all the payload gone right there.
Can’t wait for the slideshow!

So the Tundra is more of a Fundra...not meant for heavy lifting. Huh.
