Damn, I would be pretty good with those numbers. I have no idea why mine gets so bad when other people tell me theirs does good. I even baby it and it still only gets 16-17 highway.

I guess but what’s the right truck?
If you get a run for and have a pole vault....
I think a backup camera on the back of the trailer is really all you need but I guess that’s just me.
I think it’s still a problem if someone is relying on the “see through” view and doesn’t realize how long their trailer is. People think too much of technology.
True, but how many people blindly follow blind spot monitors without looking in their mirrors without realizing they are not perfect?
I think it’s that they beat the competitors on cost. These things are becoming so expensive that people are trying to find something with a few technological gadgets and on the cheap.
He thought it said “compactor” which is what he calls his “truck”
I for one am very excited to see what the new F-150 Hybrid and Electric are bringing to the table. I think you’re spot on with this take.
My Dad’s older F-250 (maybe early 2000's?) got an average of 15-16 MPG with a giant diesel engine. I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V8 and with a 70/30 mix of city/highway I am averaging around 14-15 MPG. I love all the “improvements”.
Wait, so you can see what’s behind the trailer but not where the end of the trailer is? Sounds like a great way for some accidents. I’ll stick with old fashioned mirrors.
Do you know what they were geared for?
Can we confirm they had the same gearing?
Definitely not arguing with you on the last point but yes, happens all day every day in Florida.
Possibly. Just to make sure we’re saying the same thing this is 20 minutes of constantly holding the clutch to some degree or another. I don’t think the Jetta had a particularly heavy clutch, but it wasn’t light either.
If you do that in Miami you have to add in minimum an extra hour travel time because everyone will just cut in front of you.
Impressive, I didn’t know any Kia could handle carrying a fighter jet on the roof.
Used to daily an 06 VW Jetta that was manual and after 20 minutes of stop and go on the highway my knee would start hurting.
Weird, lived in Miami for a number of years and never had this issue
MUKGA sounds like you’re getting sick though.
