I was going to say that’s a damn good looking Cadillac finally...then I re-read your comment.

But it’s not that they would go away. If just changes how they are setup, run and who owns them.

CarMax won’t even make an offer on a vehicle that has had the airbags deployed.

That’s a lot of lost resale value too :(

They wanted to compete in the SxS class, the rules changed so rapidly (not last minute but pretty quickly) that they no longer qualified for the SxS class after he already built the vehicle.

A dirtbike won the overall at the Baja 1000 this year too. They don’t have the same top speed but they can maneuver through tight and dangerous stuff much easier.

I wouldn’t use bedsides for a couple reasons. 1) It’s more susceptible to crash issues and 2) It raises the center of gravity in an already tall vehicle.

Bro truck crowd is a small portion of the trucks sold in the US.

Oh this is great, their heads are going to explode about what to do.

Do you know it’s most people? I don’t think it is but I don’t have statistics to back it up either way. Regardless, that’s exactly why I put that disclaimer in my statement.

If they freak out they aren’t very smart or are living very close to the edge of budget constraints. Even if gas goes up a dollar a gallon right now I would only pay an extra $900 a year for fuel with a full size pickup.

Lol, if you’re short a stock F-250/F-350 these days is going to be hard to get into.

With that you’re actually on the low side of a 3/4 ton truck. I don’t think you would want to regularly but I could tow that with my 1/2 ton.

I agree, it absolutely is situational. How much would you be towing regularly out of curiousity?

Reliability? Diesel engines have been proven to not be any more reliable than a gas engine. They also usually cost more in the long run.

Two extra wheels and lots of extra horsepower. I think I found it.

Ah, I didn’t realize that. I thought the V6's came from the factory like that. I’ve seen a couple V8's with those badges now.

I’ve seen a few well built and super fast mustang V8s with 3.7L badges on them. Sure is surprising when they take off from a red light.
