John Byrne did it first.

Mr. Immortal really worked for me, whoever was that Asgardian Shapeshifter character, not so much.
I did not know a lot about She Hulk before this show, but I had heard that about the comics. I love how Gao is playing that part up.
Well that’s the entire thing, Regular Show was a ratings powerhouse for Cartoon Network that was pulling in millions of viewers that pretty much grew up with the show (and kept watching it), so I think they were kind of expecting like “hey, all those regular show viewers are like 18 now, so they’ll just keep watching…
Suck. It. Off.
not to play devil’s advocate, but is it that people actually care about the inhumans or more that people on the internet just like feeling smart about themselves for pointing out that something is different?
Anyone commenting with a review of the performance, character, or show, positive or negative, is completely missing the point, and pushes forward the dangerous idea that treating actors as human beings deserving of respect, free from bigotry is somehow conditional. It is not. There is absolutely no excuse for the kind…
They’re called the Ghostbusters and they’re in control! I remember the rap break too! I thought I was the only one!
Both Venoms are strong entries in the “Good Bad Movie” category for me.
Two years later I’m here to say you nailed it. Clearly this wasn’t a great movie. But damn it CERTAINLY was everything you’d expect out of a big mid-90s blockbuster. It ticked all the boxes. Did I love it? I don’t know. But I certainly loved the experience of it: the hype, the EW coverage, the stars, the McDonalds tie…
The movie also held well from its Friday take through Sunday, besting not only industry projections, but Sony’s internal ones as well. Word of mouth would have muted that, but it feels like people *do* like it (it got an ovation from my Friday screening).
Sometimes the public just wants mcdonalds and not experimental fusion.
The original Cowboy Bebop is a top-five anime for me, and I have really few problems with the live-action Netflix version. It’s not perfect, it’s not the same, but it’s a really fun show with a lot to like.
So a bartender is opening up at like 4PM, so the whole place is dead, and a guy walks in. He’s got a suit that could feed a family of four for a decade, and it’s on a body that would put Michael Phelps to shame, and he’s also got a red balloon for a head.
So that’s why he’s called Winnie the Pooh.
Yah, watch the toys that made us episode on Netflix. Like he-man DOMINATED to the tune of obscene dollars for a good half decade. It had a head start on tf and Joe. SheRa was also big with boys and girls. So it’s a weird take that people are calling one of the biggest toylines of all time “niche.”
Got mad “Ride of the Valkyrie” vibes from the music when classic Loki conjured up his illusion.
Man, on the TV/Video section on my PS4, I once scrolled too far to the right, and saw the Crackle logo. Felt a chill to my very core, like I’d just traversed the veil into the Darklands.
I think they summed up their philosophy best in Season 9, Episode 4 “Best Friends Forever”. It ran along the lines of “Their side is wrong for the right reasons, and our side is right for the wrong reasons.”
61 y/o can confirm. Like any other little bird, I repeated what I heard ... until I saw words make impact. Tried to make reparation but more importantly chose to not do it again.
