I love how half of the cars in this comment section have “2 Fast 2 Furious” era bodykits. A buddy of mine and I were just discussing earlier this week where all the “ricers” from that era went to, his bet was the junkyard, I’ll have to point him to this thread.

+1. This is why my stance build is planned to be a Chevy Lumina Euro. They look kinda cool, but they’re worthless and don’t perform worth a darn. Kind of difficult to ruin something that was going to the junkyard when you bought it.

We need this. Toyota needs this. Everyone needs this. Heck, I’ll even volunteer to do the freeze-frame jumping in the commercial, just PLEASE BUILD IT!

As a fellow Millenial who is also pursuing a marketing degree, this post officially gets all of my yes.

Early 2000s Chrysler Sebring. Lots of people at my high school got these as hand-me-downs or purchased them because they’re the cheapest convertibles on the market. These things were unbelievably unreliable, made my friend’s 1968 Plymouth Valiant look like the pinnacle of reliability.

Or a Miata with the optional hardtop.

Anybody but me seeing a lot of Genesis Coupe in this exterior?

I loved NSFU 2 when I was a kid, and I still play it sometimes today strictly for the LOLZ. That game was a large portion of my knowledge about foreign cars until I joined Jalopnik a year and a half ago.

It was the game that introduced me to so, so many cars: Lancia Stratos, Acura NSX, Subaru WRX STi, and one of the few cars that was never imported to the U.S. That I desperately want, the Honda City Turbo II!

ALL MY YES!!!

I feel that the 1997 Toyota Supra marked the end of the Japanese grand touring era. There was a time when the Japanese could move expensive, 6 cylinder, rear wheel drive semi-exotics like hot cakes. Heck, they sold enough of them that even tiny Mitsubishi got in on the act. The Supra really bookends that era for me,

Here’s a good example of a vastly underapperciated sports car- the 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo. These cars were overpriced for what they were back when new, but today you can get a screamin’ deal on one. This particular example has only one bid at $1350- almost a 30th of some of the other vehicles here! Buy it now on the

I support this because I want to see the return of the Civic Wagovan and the Tercel and Corolla Alltrac.

All my yes! This is a problem that’s really plaguing our enthusiast cars right now, as well. Sat in both a Subaru BRZ and a FiST recently and the racing seats in them darn near killed me. Those things as factory standard equipment need to die, I’ll put them I later if I want them.

I love it, but not enough to pay $9500 for it. Drop it to $5k and then we’ll talk.

*Clears throat*

Front end looks a little “meh”, but I’m loving the boomerang tailights. Guess I probably shouldn’t judge it too much before we get the confirmed “for real” version, though.

So we dodged Millenial Carmageddon, eh? I always said people like myself who advocated for us under-25 car guys would get the last laugh. Haha!

The two tone vans are nice but...I want the cargo version. It’d be cheap, it comes with those gorgeous steelies, and I could get a bunch of my friends together and give it a Psychedelic paint job for the price of some spray paint.

A moment of silence, please.
