Nope, you're not imagining, my 'Stang's the same way.

This is the only thing that I truly just hate about Jalopnik. The total and complete mindless and irrational hatred of certain models of car for no reason other than "it's not an enthusiast's car".
As much as I love Grabber Blue Stangs, $32k isn't that far off of a brand new GT. The preproduction thing is pretty cool, and I'm glad it survived, but those sort of details are more for the museum-type owner who will keep it locked up at 86k for 40 years before flipping it at Barrett Jackson and less for the typical…
Where is the Borgward?
I absolutely adore early Vipers, and this one is no exception.
I know one thing about the Mitsubishi Mirage 1600 Aero GT:
Well, I'm sure that if most of their profits should be coming from concessions the fact that the concession stand on-site at the time looked like it would cave in without assistance and was truly disgustingly dirty probably played a larger factor than I first figured. Hadn't thought about that.
American drive-in movie theaters experienced their golden era during the 1950s, but some Floridians were watching movies under the stars in their cars even before then: The city of Miami gets its first drive-in on this day in 1938. The Miami drive-in charged admission of 35 cents per person, which was more than the…
The Dude Machine gets every last "yes" I have. I'd trade my Mustang on one today if Toyota made it. It looks like something I would have thought up at that age.
I wanted to give it NP...I really did.
The only people that I know who have Camaro SSes are 60+, but I only know two or three SS owners. I also live Ina relatively poor part of the country, so that may also have something to do with it.
Honestly, I'm not sure how much longer the GT and SS as we know them will be around. I've done configurations on both the Camaro and Mustang V8s, and found the price knocking on the door of a Shelby or ZL1. Therefore, I think they'll be replacing the base V8 models with a "more accessible" turbo V8 Shelby and ZL1 in…
IDK, as a Mustang owner, I perfer the turbo 4 cars to my current v6. There will probably always be a V8 Mustang, but I don't see there being too much of a problem getting current pony car owners to switch over to turbo.
You are not alone. Rubber MGs FTW!
I was so excited to see this...you did us proud Hardigree. Great to see Jalopnik get some national attention outside of the enthusiast circle.
