That clip made my evening. So much want for a Hornet (or as I call them "Hoon it") hatchback right now. Also, "Deputy" J.W. Pepper is suspiciously similar to Sheriff Buford T. Justice.

Yeah, I had a feeling it would go over, but I wanted to post an AMC and that was the best one I found. There's always next eBay Challenge.
This thing is unbelievably well cared for to be a non-Quattro model. I've never even seen one of these on the internet before, let alone IRL. NP all day, every day!
I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with GM's idea of the future...
So something like this, but with an Italian accent?
How hard is it to swap a motorcycle engine into a car like this? I've always secretly kind of wanted to build a Trabant with a Hyabusa engine, but I would think the logistics of mating it to the transmission would be a nightmare.
I absolutely love these old Japanese luxury cars, but for $26,500 I'd get a G8 GT and call it a day. I think sometimes the people who own these cars forget that not every JDM car is an R34, because it seems like they're all priced like one.
YES, return of the BRAT! That would be the day on which the entire Kinja system would crash from the never ending multitude of Jalopnik, Oppolock and Truck Yeah! comments of praise for Subaru.
I would seriously consider the Transit or the C-MAX. Not joking at all.
The cheapest car in this video cost at least $60k before insurance and taxes. They're "rich".
Let me rephrase that:
And this is why the police hate us, kiddies...
Yeah, the car definitely requires a taste for land yachts at $9k, so if you're not especially fond of old-school style American barges this probably isn't the car for you. I agree that the price is a tad steep, but it's not bad considering what most examples of this model sell for, let alone taking into consideration…
It's not so much that I'm against driverless cars, I think those stands a chance to make the roads better for those of us who want to drive, as perhaps we'll finally be rid of some of the bad drivers that so often frustrate us- it's just that I'm against this grotesque abomination being the car to do it.
That would be true on a sub-$5k car, but on a $8800 non-project car, it had better be a well-documented swap. Of course, some of the reason I'm so bent on this is that it kind of frustrated me that they felt like they had to swap the tranny on something so rare, and then seemingly just tossed away the #s matching…
This reminds me of the only positive that will be brought by the snow that's inevitably on its way to my Midwestern home- HOONAGE!!
It's not too high of a price, and comes with a boatload of upgrades, but the cynical buyer in me is screaming for paperwork that proves the manual tranny and the other upgrades weren't performed in Cousin Billie Bob's back yard.
