This would be my choice.
This would be my choice.
I saw on YouTube in a documentary about a street race scene in Oregon. I forget which town.
yeah, I understand that, I'm a little biased against the SUV craze because I feel that too many of them end up in the hands of inexperienced drivers. There were tons of SUVs at my high school, and they collectively tried to kill me and my Toyota because the teens behind the wheel were oblivious to their surroundings.
They were excellent off-road, as they shared underpinnings with the old Samurai. They just looked too weird to ever catch on.
America needs to understand that tall=ugly most of the time. Not always, but I personally feel like a to of crossovers would look much more appealing if they were closer to the ground.
I thought that those indicated that you were looking for a street race...
As stated in the article, the cheaper the car is, the better hoonmobile it will usually be. The 350Z is still pretty expensive to be using shamelessly like you would a 240. Saw a 350Z on a used car lot last year that was still marked up to $14k. You could get a running and driving 240SX for $2k.
Great to hear she got her ride back. Best of luck to you and Lucy, Lisa! The world needs more young people like us that are into cars- fixing up an old car beats the pants off of spreading negativity on the internet, which is what a lot of young people do anymore.
I feel for you, did the same thing in my Grandpa's '69 coupe. It was the first time I had ever driven a car older than 1995, I was sixteen, and I was in a 350 cubic inch proverbial chariot of fire. First thing out of the box, I pulled up to an intersection and peeled out by accident. I had also never driven rear drive…
I wasn't even alive in the eighties, and I want this so much...
What I can't understand is why car conglomerates like GM have to either have a full line under a brand or kill it. Why couldn't Pontiac's only car have been the Firebird? Does it really cost that much to make the unique badging? Same with Olds bringing back a 442, or Mercury bringing back the Cougar.
With all do respect to Tailpipe and it's employees (it's not their fault), it doesn't seem like there are any steals on that site right now- at least not on the cars that I'm shopping for. Then again, it always feels that way, so maybe I just have expensive tastes.
This is awesome. If the Torchbug ever wants to hang out with a Pacer, an El Camino, or any of a variety of late model Camsros and Mustangs, let me know.
Please tell me that the prize is enough to buy all 5 cars (fingers crossed)...
