My 9yo tells me he’s gonna merge YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and call it YouTwitFace...
This story aged poorly. At least Elden Ring allows you to block.
Don’t forget lecturing them the whole way and possibly giving them a transvaginal ultrasound in the car. You know, the compassionate compromise.
She'd probably negotiate a killer deal where you paid double the price and just got the holes. Not donut holes, as in tiny spherical donuts, but just the empty space that filled the center of the donuts you wanted.
Interestingly, you might think Christianity would be a force for peace in post-Roman Britain, but it’s cynically used as a decoy by faithless power mongers.
Middle ground is, what, driving women who need abortions to the border of an abortion-legal state and making them walk the rest of the way?
Well, I know the plural of ‘anecdote’ isn’t ‘data’, but every guy I ever knew of that had ‘Coach’ as their moniker was a POS.
It’s more than just readiness.
I mean in his twisted, puny mind (remember this is the same smooth brain that thought the three branches of the government were the President, the House, and the Senate) he is representing his constituents by trying to enforce their backwards ass views on abortion - what is wrong is that he’s fucking with national…
“I know that Coach does not want to undermine the readiness of our U.S. military,”
It’s totally safe for her, though, because she knows with absolute certainty that she’ll never, ever, ever have to deliver on it because there’s zero chance her offer will be accepted.
I think Sinema is wanting a little more power (and relevancy) herself; that might be why she threw in that bit about “authority and right”, like Congress is some sort of flipping aristocracy.
In (sarcastic) defense of the coach item:
There’s a couple of things that are bothering me about this. Well, there’s more but, these two quotes in particular.
Yup. Suggesting they need to “find middle ground” and then giving zero suggestions on what that middle ground could POSSIBLY be is an extra kind of useless.
Boy am I glad we got Krysten “Give me a wad of cash and you can use me like a hand puppet’ Sinema’s opinion on this.
Well someone binge watched the Diplomat and thought it was realistic!
“you might think Christianity would be a force for peace...”
Hey, WTF, why didn’t I hear a word of this show coming out before this? I read the books ages ago and the first two of the trilogy are excellent. A pity that the quality dips a fair bit in the last one, but overall the books are still an excellent read. I hope that the show manages to live up to the source material.
