What’s even ‘worse’ for the ghouls is the fact that there is a very good chance that in using nitrogen, the person dying will go through a brief narcosis high that’s along the lines of a nitrous oxide high. I’m pretty sure that you were probably very well aware of this fact in your post as well.

I would probably go the gochujang route, but I’m currently on a gochu kick like some have with their respective sriracha kick.

Channel flipping, but looking at CNN’s chyron gives me the strange compulsion to order Domino’s pizza?

I know what umeboshi is and I’ve always wanted to try it. Fairly crappy asian food selections and markets in my area are an issue, but I know where I can get it. Great suggestion though, so thanks much!

Yeah, I legit don’t know for sure, but I don’t remember any acts of contrition by Murphy over his past homophobic bullcrap. If he’s made any, I’ve missed them. And if he hasn’t then it seems like a legit thing to ask. I’m not taking a stand for Cohen here, but my impression of him is that this is sort of his schtick

Ok, tubing trip... I would imagine that this being a tubing trip, you and your friends were probably preloaded with other beers/alcoholic devices. This could explain why this...umm...beer’(?) survived those grief stages and how it came about that anyone actually wanted another one. Just guessing here.

Day glow disco treasure hunt!

Just for info, a black light will fluoresce their urine. It’s a disgusting, but possibly helpful thing to know.

Three.

Rodents by FAR! I had some roof rats that found their way into my house after chewing through an inner wooden barriers in some vent openings in my roof. They will mess your food and house up something fierce and are a serious pain to deal with.

Interesting!

Sorry, Kevin! I spun this into a bad way and that was never my intention. Thanks for being cool when I was a bit of a tool. :-(

Kind of strange that he’d do that, but maybe he enjoys the other interactions or most of the calls are worth answering? I get a couple of spam calls and I’m not loving it and that’s after doing my best to not put out my main #. And calls at 2 a.m.? No bueno. I wish him luck with that!

Yeah, this thread isn’t going well for me. Kevin’s (and the rest here) are good people.

We’ve obviously acclimatized to our respective summer hells. Sub-hundy heat with matching number humidity melts me into a pile of goo and triple digit dry heat burns you to a crisp, but we’re both relatively functional in our hells. ?

I actually like those and only noticed them out of a love for rootbeer. As someone over 50 and somewhat oblivious to most ‘new/cool’ things, it definitely wasn’t because of anything trendy, but I could see something like that as why it started popping up at all the gas station markets. I can only drink about 2, maybe

Oh, I know it wasn’t lost on either of you. More of a gentle poke on an easy target. Mr. Mittenthal sounds like a super nice guy who wouldn’t say no to a friendly interview, despite the inherent risks involved. But your story might have contributed something like an uptick of .0001% of those sorts of calls that he

Wrote a thesis on the 8th Amendment and capital punishment in college. Went in pro and came out strongly against it. As far as being a deterrent goes, it was well documented that in the not-so-distant history, pickpocketing was rampant during public executions despite the fact that the people being executed were often

Kevin, love all you fine folks, but you do know that you’re not helping this guy out at all, right?

For a start, look up anything on a retired warden from Mississippi, Donald A. Cabana. He personally carried out and was involved with many executions and he went from being deeply pro to one of the biggest advocates against it. He wrote several books, such as ‘Death At Midnight’, describing this journey and he wasn’t
