@oyumurtaci: Whereas in America, there was this. Recommended for obvious reasons.

@oyumurtaci: The Sunbeam Lotus Horizon Turbo. Obscure, unloved, unappreciated.

@oyumurtaci: Nibbles doesn't like the Xantia.

@oyumurtaci: The descendant of the DS, it has an amazing suspension set-up that provides Corvette-rivaling handling with amazing comfort passed down from its forefather. Spacious but not gracious, it can even be driven lightly off road thanks to adjustable ride height. Also, you can fit your house in the boot.

@oyumurtaci: Though this may be pushing the 5-door concept towards a wagon (it is, after all, the Break), it was far ahead of its time, and still arguably has the best ride in a car today.

@oyumurtaci: Torquey, quirky, definitely emotional. Any Saab 5-door is a statement on its own.

Oh where to start... see replies for an assortment of fantastic 5-doors.

@Rusty Van Horn: I've got mine set up with mad stance. It's hellaflush with crazy camber rolling on 50s. It's all tasteful though, none of that dekotora stuff. Getting under it is still an issue, but what are small disposable children for if not that.

I SWEAR I WAS PAYING ATTENTION!

@FodderTheSane: Dammit, I have been exposed... in my defense, I'm short and the truck was hard to see out of. I submit this photo of myself the day I received my truckers license. I got full marks for situational awareness.

I was unaware of the existence of such a thing. Here in Turkey, when a (well-off) friend tried to insure his iguana, he was laughed off, and could not insure it for any cost. Instead, he had the temperature controlled overgrown fish tank he kept it in installed into a wall and added it to his home insurance value. He

I can't imagine 'backin dat ass up' was any easy what with the low rearward visibility, lack of parking sensors and general go-fastishness of the vehicle. Then again, I suppose Porsche really are the sports/super cars for daily life.

I don't know the running rate for unmolested examples, but seeing as the modifications here seem more like a tap on the butt that sports-inclined people seem to do to each other, I'm inclined to call this sports car a NP. The stickers and sideskirts and assorted douchebaggery can all be easily removed, whereas the

@morphoyle: I wasn't implying that the rules were arbitrary or shouldn't be followed, just wanted to know more about how it all worked, and if certification by governing bodies had any influence on the matter.

@brijazz: That would make for an awesomely bizarre world ('OFF' means commence liftoff into orbit). Also, I have your avatar as a T-shirt. You win a H-click.

@Jamsian: Thank you for the explanation of how much EM interference can truly be emitted from these things. I had mostly thought of it as a near-field problem, but like you said, the actual emittance is far greater. In the case of your monitor and phone, I'd say your monitor is more FCC than your phone, as it abides

@Dutch Guilder: I was referring mostly to general use, but I understand what you are saying. If a MacBook Air can slice cheese with minimal (?) force, imagine what it could do in a low pressure pocket.

@Iggy: That sounds woefully logical.

I'd appreciate if someone knowledgeable on the subject could chime in:

@TheAntiCat: I am appalled, but at least take comfort in that it seems she is making an effort to fit in.
