(Not so) fun fact: Placenta means cake in Latin. My latin class in school had a cake rota called the “rota placentarum” hanging on the wall.
So I googled it and found this article from March 2014 in which a D.C. abortion fund for women who can’t afford to pay for thier own abortions gave some away to people who donated 10 dollars or more.
Where is that from? I like it a lot!
Some disagree (no matter how illogically)
I really don’t mean this in a rude way but it’s with impunity, I think? Impunity means lack of punishment.
Can I ask what it was meant to say?
Maybe they didn’t provide the full story?
Fair point :(
Huh. Does it actually say that bit about (hetero) sex with a minor in the bible or is it implied (I know that historically speaking the age gaps in christian marriages could be disturbing)? In the first case I could see that being a justification they might use to themselves. I would presume even they would not say it…
Ooh, good point.
I think its interesting too that the girls said they “had to” forgive him. I realise that forgiveness is probably a big moral precept in their sect as it is in most strains of Christianity, but how much is it worth if its not freely given?
Fair enough :) I’ll look them up.
yep, he even says he knows its not evidence.
I actually think that playing catch when borrowing tampons sounds kind of fun. Your teachers knew nothing
I think its meant to mean someone who isn’t “conventionally pretty” - they might have an asymmetrical face, or features not quite in proportion like a very big nose or wide mouth - but they actually are beautiful anyway, and it works for them.
Yeah, I’m not sure I agree she’s jolie-laide, so much as plain jolie.
