The biggest issue with ESPN is their production, which attempts to focus on anything BUT baseball it seems. Telling a story through a run-scoring single, playing a pre-taped segment over actual game play, those stupid inset ads. It’s as if they believe people don’t actually want to watch baseball.

And yet this entire statement reeks of “Aren’t I just the best manager, looking after my client’s mental health above all else?” which could be true, but could also happen without stating it so obviously. It comes-off as self-serving, even if it is out of a sincere concern for his client’s well-being.

How old is this kid? My 2-year-old doesn’t even understand the concept of what to do with a ball when it is thrown to her. She just smiles as it hits her in the head.

One would have thought the Nets’ relative success this season would have won them some more fans, but I guess there is just too much else to do in Brooklyn.

As a Yankee fan I would have loved it if he tried for the record and became ineffectual down the stretch. That said, it would have been a stupid managerial decision at 108 pitches to send him back out there with a lead.

Can’t they just dispense with the pageantry and have LeBron be player/manager? It’d just be easier.

This is clearly the most disturbing and hilarious response to that tweet:

Well whenever I run I barely have enough lung capacity to breath let-alone speak, so I’m sure these elite runners who train non-stop for this have the same problem.

I really tried to figure out what you were talking about through context clues and grit, but as someone who doesn’t watch any of whatever it is you are talking about, I failed. Almost none of those words made sense in aggregate.

Which was basically Everton’s personal Super Bowl.

Was this really a better EPL title run than the Leicester Cinderella run?

Oh was that the lesson? I couldn’t get that from your initial Patriots “no off-days” brainwashed comment.

Didn’t she have some damn gravitas in Fury Road too? I don’t remember her beauty being too much of a plot device in that one.

God I hate the Red Sox, but Bradley can play a mean center.

The thing I love most about these types of finishes is you can just see the people thinking “I have no idea what to do with my body right now, but I know it’s something.” and just reacting. I had the same feeling and I’m glad nobody was filming me.

Found Bill Simmons’ account.

It was masterful in it’s own way. Beauty out of chaos.

I think he confused THE European Cup with A European cup
