I’m not disagreeing with this which is why I added the ‘drastically’ qualifier. I agree if you go bezel-less you also need to widen the device to even out the ratio. But another thing to consider are the uses that aren’t tied to aspect ratio...gaming, productivity apps, etc.

Generally there seem to be three distinct groups of people:
