What’s odd about Dazed and Confused for me is that even though I went to school a decade after the time period it’s set in, the setting feels closer to what my high school was like than any of the other movies you mentioned.  I felt the nostalgia and then I felt bad because of how backwards my school was.

What a difference having a PR department makes.

They exist. I spotted one on the highway last weekend. Had an IH8NYR license plate, which pretty much epitomizes what it means to be an Islanders fan.

If its one on each side it isn’t too bad. Pretty much 2 on 2 with some extra obstacles.

I love snow day and don’t get why the pool of players is so small.  Might be going back to it for a while as the flood of rookies will make regular casual even more mismatched than usual.

Takenoko is another good choice for competitive late elementary/middle school games. Cute design and lots of different strategies. Lords of Waterdeep and Champions of Midgard are worker placement type games that could also work well.

As a game for grade school kids? For currently crowdfunding games, Legend of Korra would be a better option, or maybe Wander.

Sushi Go! and Takenoko are the go-to kids games when there is a group over. Takenoko takes a while to get into but the cuteness factor helps it get to the table.

That is exactly what Reese said. First, they were waiving him. They waived a few other players too and he wasn’t predicted to get past the first cut. The second part was that they were aware of the charges and that his potential future with the team (i.e., next year or if they really need an OT later in the season)

Yeah, first time I’ve heard of it too despite using Kinja for a long time. Shoehorning the front page into the house blog style is a worse offense.

Yeah, that cat is just a kitten and looks like it has a ways to grow. A 20+ pound semi-feral cat is a lot more to deal with than a fluffy kitten.

Leonard Part 6. Went with a buddy in middle school. It was an afternoon showing with maybe five people total in the theater. Two were extremely drunk and laughed hysterically through the first third of the movie, before vomiting extensively and then passing out. It was truly an awful, awful movie with no redeeming

For those quarterbacks who’ve passed through the Jets system being mentored there’s at least the hope that in a few years they too can get another season in mentoring the next crop.

It’s just weird that the idol rules apply to esports too. Seems like if a team owner had a more liberal dating policy it would provide a major incentive towards getting talent.

I'm about a third of the way through Fall of Light. Might carry me through February as it's dense even by his standards.

Plexiglass and velcro tape was a big help to me when my kid was little.

The alternative is to offer a less controlled tier of advertising that still doesn’t go too far and how to determine what that criteria is. It’s likely been evaluated at Google and a decision made that it would not be profitable or would raise other issues, such as how to price different tiers. Google has an interest

Exactly. Google sells advertising and is a for-profit company. If it can charge more for advertising because the linked content is controlled then it will. While it’s certainly possible that there are some advertisers that would pay to be linked to some of the content that got demonetized, it would require a lot of

This is the non-L part of Brooklyn. It has it’s own minor issues, like not having any public schools, but there are several subways that service the area.

Just shows how the RNC is looking ahead to 2020 when his fanbase is old enough to vote.
