Amazon is mainly a problem on my Xoom, it looks great but is very buggy.

Amazon: Too glitchy to be general purpose. Most of my music purchases are from Amazon so it does get some use but streaming takes a while to settle down and is skip prone (at least on Android).

The Subsonic server can be a bit of a memory hog but when you get used to it, its hard to switch to anything else. While it may not have the flashiest mobile interface, its playlist handling is excellent, especially the way it handles caching of songs to be played.

I think that B&W has occasionally introduced monitor size speakers in between its high end and mid range speaker lines before. Its something its competitors have a habit of doing. I hadn't looked at the mid range lineup in a while, doesn't seem like they have really done anything with it in a decade. From what I

For me the difference between high bitrate lossy and lossless isn't significant enough to matter for most listening situations. Lower bitrate lossy often doesn't sound as good although it depends on the source material and the background conditions.

I made the mistake of using a bottle of expired sunscreen at the start of the summer once. I will never make that mistake again. Days of agony. I think the lotion must've been completely ineffective because I had burns bad enough that even slight heat years later can still trigger twinges.

This brings me back to high school chemistry. Build a still in the middle of class and make apple brandy. That was a teacher who knew how to get the kids attention.

Munitions loading robot?

I haven't used Audiogalaxy but Subsonic which has a similar service has worked very well for me. The caveats with Subsonic are that its primarily folder based rather than tag based as far as organization structure goes and if you are running Windows you have to use local storage for you music rather than network

Titanium Backup has a pretty great UI actually considering its dealing with fairly low level app management that has a lot of ugly but important data that needs to be parsed. Its very easy to get to where you need to go, do what you need to do and see the information you need. Most of the time the functionality is

VOTE: HTPC: It can do just about whatever you want and the customizability is in your hands. AmazonVOD/Youtube/Hulu/Vudu plus any other internet video is easily accessible. XBMC provides local VOD that no other interface can even come close to. You can also run servers off of an HTPC such as Plex or Playon to stream

With regard to no.2 Flash has worked great with my Android tablet. HBOGo, Amazon VOD, tons of games, all without any issues. Hulu is the only trouble spot and that's probably more due to Hulu intentionally not wanting compatibility.

Amazon has lots of Nick Jr. shows and can stream to any devices that can handle Flash. Its great having a library of familiar shows within easy reach when taking a potentially fussy toddler on vacation.

There's still quite a few negatives from the original review that are still issues. 4G was delayed until summer, along with the Bionic launch. MicroSD access isn't officially enabled (rooting is required to make it work). Google's update go pushed back as well.

Of the types of people willing to spend too much of their disposable income on A/V I've noticed three groups, those chasing technical specs, the "audiophiles" and those looking beautiful/expensive design. B&O seems to cater squarely to that third, most lucrative group. Take a high end product from another

Back before wikipedia and google there was something almost mystical about the listing of author's other works. Depending on the clout of the particular author they might contain books published with other publishers or more often had conspicuous gaps.

The problem with the big companies dying is that it just leaves the remaining ones stronger. For example, ClearChannel.

Its an interesting twist on how I understand many insects generally operate. Insects immune systems use a limited cocktail of antibiotics and antibacterials that gets mixed up from generation to generation via evolution. Because their life cycles are shorter, insects don't need as much adaptability in their immune

I used the garbage bag and duct tape solution over the A/C units that originally came with my apartment. Since replacing them there has either been much less leakiness or the less excessively windy cold winters. Probably more the latter considering the heat was only on a handful of times the whole winter.
