Group messages work great on newer versions of Android, but everybody in the thread will know at least one person is rocking Android because the color changes lol

With Android you can just torrent a movie/tv show and copy the media on to the phone/tablet and watch it. With iOS, you have to convert almost every single video torrent to be able to put it on an iOS device (or at least you used to. I don't torrent anymore.)

I guess that makes sense. I'm just so used to grabbing sneakers and popping them on.

How many people use shoe horns on sneakers? (Serious question for the other readers out there). To me, a shoe horn is exclusively for dress shoes.

You said it's not show stopping, but for companies that rely on shipping consumer goods from Asia it is show stopping. For large companies, it's definitely hitting their margins as they pay to air freight some items over. For companies that can't afford air freight from Asia, or for products that aren't profitable

I honestly wish weather was a little more varied in So Cal. I was raised in the Midwest and I miss seasons, thunderstorms, chilly autumn nights, and cool spring mornings.

It's all relative. The amount of fuel they use relative to the amount of cargo they are carrying is a tiny fraction of the amount of fuel your SUV is using to carry you. A train can move one ton of freight 450 miles on a gallon of fuel. Your SUV can move your (what 200 pound) self 20 miles on a gallon of fuel....

Sort that chart by foreign imports and #3 and #6 are long beach and LA. Where do you think all your electronics (and a whole bunch of other consumer goods) are coming in from?

I just posted something along the same lines. This holdup is going to crush a lot of Q1 financials. Revenue and profits are going to be way down as all this inventory is stuck offshore, and margins are going to be eroded by air freighting higher value items.

I love sweaters. I own 15. However, I only get to wear each one maybe twice a year. CA weather sucks because it's boring, but then I look at the -15 temps in Michigan and 7 feet of snow in Boston and realize it's ok.

Tons of companies are going to feel this shutdown in their revenues, profits, and stock prices as all their crap is chilling offshore. A lot of them have had to ship to air freighting some things over, which is ridiculously expensive in comparison.

That is exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. Thanks!

I know it would have been harder to do, but they should have split it into smaller chunks.

I'm looking forward to that phone as well, but I was just listing phones that are supposed to be unveiled in the next few months.

well damn it.....

I understand that the joke is that this phone looks nothing like an iPhone, but even that joke is long past it's prime.

The iPhone 6 doesn't have a curved display, it has curved glass. And on that note, the Galaxy Nexus (2011) would like to have a word with you....

I would bet decent money that the battery is glued into place.

That would be a tired joke even if this phone did look like an iPhone. But it doesn't....at all....

Even with great reviews this phone is a tough sell. This price of this phone will probably be $300 on contract again, and even if it weren't, we have the S6, M9, Z4, and G4 all right around the corner.
