Well the 4.0 in the 4 Runner has been in it since 2002 with some revisions.  It’s due to be replaced.  At least in 02-08 you could spec a 4 Runner with the 4.7, but they axed that option on the current one. 

And it was also sold as a 2.7l as well. But they replaced the AR with the A25A (dynamic force) engines a few years back. But they do make a turbocharged version of one of those.
