It’s a 6th gen processor. Microsoft only supports Windows 11 on 8th gen or newer. Windows 10 goes out of support in October of 2025 at which point your running an unsecure OS or needing to install Linux.

Unless it’s a Tacoma and the 3 year old lease returns are only 3-4k less than a new one.

My problem is I want a pickup truck with a manual. The Tacoma and the Gladiator are the only options. I don’t do Chrysler and I’ve always had good luck with Toyotas being reliable and trouble free for decades. I’m on a wait list at the local dealer for one being built which tells me Toyota needs to build more Tacomas

Still carry my 80GB iPod Classic everywhere I go and use the Aux port or a tape adapter depending on what I’m driving.

I really wish you would look at the specs and support on these refurbished machines. The newest version of MacOS supported on the 2012 MBP is Catalina, which is 4 versions old and went out of support in 2022. Unless someone is going to install Linux, this machine has a growing issue with being outdated and threat

Intel is currently on their 13th gen processors and Windows 11 doesn’t support anything older than 8th gen with a few exceptions so this machine will be out of support in October of 2025 unless you want to run Linux.  Even at only $200, that’s not a lot of usable life on an already 7 year old device.

Same here. My daily is a 2010 RAV4. I would consider swapping the JBL head unit for something that has CarPlay, but other than that I’m good. I work in IT and after dealing with computers all day, the last thing I want to do is deal with subscription apps for my car.

Exactly! It was the main selling point for me to even consider the Crosstrek.

That’s a lot of money for a device that doesn’t have a processor capable of running Windows 11, since 10 goes out of support in a little over 2 years

I’m guessing because those aren’t available in the US market anymore. The current US sedan lineup is the incoming Crown, the Camry, and the Corolla.

There has been mention of a PHEV in the future, but no details yet. The Corolla sedan is only FWD but the Corolla Cross does have the electric rear end.  I have a feeling that Ford and Chevy pulling out of the sedan will help both cars stay on the market for a while longer since those shoppers who still prefer a

Yeah that bustle butt is extremely odd looking.

As a long standing fan of the Crown, I am glad to see the name return to the US in close to 50 years, but I think the styling of this model (and the last several previous ones) is atrocious.  When I think of the Toyota Crown, I picture the 130-series from 87-90 or the 170-series from 99-03.  Those cars still had

That’s not for a plug-in hybrid, that’s for the hybrid MAX which is turbocharged.  The Crown is larger and heavier than the Camry and has AWD standard, whereas the Camry is only offered with FWD with the hybrid or the V6 while it lasts.

I was thinking 2006+ were the 6 speed. But in the US you can’t import a non US market car under 25 years old. For me, Millennium Silver would be my first choice. I usually prefer white (my 2010 RAV, 88 Camry LE V6, and our 87 Supra are all white), but not on a Century.

Thanks, love that car.  It isn’t fast or fancy but its stupid reliable.  In the nearly 28 years I’ve had it it has only broken down once.  Back in 2009 the ignition coil went out at 250k.

Doesn’t phase me.  I’m a leftie so I would be very comfortable driving a RHD vehicle, even a stick.

I wish I was in the position.  But the later ones with the 6 speed transmission won’t be legal for import to the US until around 2031 so I’ve got time.

I appreciate it is one of the few AWD vehicles still available with a manual!

Or the 1990 Camry I’ve had since high school that had 120k on it 27 years ago when I drove it home and is sitting at just under 280k now and still runs like it always has.
