same here (not the 64 age, but not far off), I have a 2010 SUV too, it works fine and I have a mount for my iphone with a bluetooth 12V device plugged in that transmit to the radio, all the tech I really need. The repairs don’t even approach a new car monthly/yearly cost.

Something extra that didn’t come with the vehicle is one thing, but it’ll be a cold day in hell before I buy a car with once-standard features built in that require extra cost or a subscription at some point, like heated seats.

At 64 with a car from 2010, I seriously doubt I’ll buy another car in my lifetime. Too much shit going on like this. Never mind the prices going up and up.
