The 4Runner is still using the 4.0 out of the previous gen Tacoma...

The 2AR already is 2.5 liters.  That’s what’s under the hood of my 2010 RAV4

I only replaced them on my Camry at about 250k years ago because a wheel cylinder went bad.  The shoes had plenty of meat left, but had been soaked in fluid.

The bubble economy bust of the early 90's had a lot to do with it.  Think about how high tech the cars they were selling were back then.  Electronic suspensions and transmissions, DOHC engines that were pumping out way more power than their US made contemporaries with considerably more displacement.  Honda was

My folks had a 96 regular cab, 2.7 manual 4x4 that was recalled.  Shame because if it weren’t for the frame, that thing was clean and fun to drive.  I prefer trucks that size.

And here in WV, you can now register Side by Sides for road use on all roads but interstates. They were not designed for road use as they are basically multi-seat ATV’s and have no crash structures but now you can take it to the Walmart or the Mickey D’s drive thru.

Heck, Manchin won’t give me the time of day and I’m a constituent from his home town!

I vote for his primary opponent every time... you’re right.  I live not far from where he grew up.  I want him out, but when he wins the primary, he is still by far the better choice than the R running against him in the general.

Mine was a 4x4 regular cab with the 6.5' bed.  Wish I still had it, but the rust got to the point I wasn’t investing in the repairs it needed to stay roadworthy.

I won’t disagree.  Their lineup overall hasn’t impressed me much since the late 80's - early 90's other than some interesting models only sold in Japan in the late 90's - early 2000's, like the V12 Century and the last of the inline 6 Crown and Mark II models.

My last truck was a 95 F150 and I can confirm that the modern mid-sizers are longer(depending on configuration) and taller but still narrower than it was.

Yes, the US market Corollas have had more interior volume than the 2nd gen Camry since the 9th gen debuted in 2003.  And the Camry has dwarfed the last gen Cressida since the 3rd gen.

Love me some Toyota Crowns... If I had the cash, I would be on my way.  Hopefully by the time the 170 series is legal for import I will be in the position to acquire one or two.

YES!!! Even with the loss of rigidity from taking off the roof, I love cruising with the top off our A70 Supra.

Bingo! 5.0 Crown Vic with a whopping 150hp. My 88 Camry with the optional 2.5l 24 valve V6 was a revelation at the time with 153hp. Pretty much all the bigger heavier cars of the era had under 200hp so it would smoke them.

As others have said, RWD coupe.  My bone stock 87 Supra Turbo is only pushing about 230HP but it’s still plenty of fun to drive.  Raw power isn’t everything.

As the owner of a 1990 Camry since 95, I am glad my dad had me drive a Cutlass Ciera before we drove the Camry. Like you said low miles and felt like an old car, whereas the Camry was and still is nimble and pleasant to drive. It had 120k on it in 95 and has just shy of 280k on it now and other than the AC needing

It comes with a Dark Helmet action figure?  Gauges that can be configured to look like Mr. Radar?

Wow, When I had mine done, I had novocaine and nitrus.  I could have driven myself home.

I just requested to join the Malaise Motors group! There are a few pics of my cars in the Underappreciated Survivors group. White 88 Camry LE V6 and a red 90 DX.
