I’m not a doctor either, but I do have experience in choking people out for “recreational” purposes. It’s a pretty well known fact that one loses consciousness long before involuntary function will cease. How this isn’t properly communicated by the prosecution has always dumbfounded me.

One would assume that, if it were about fairness in competition for college scholarships, at least one person writing/promoting these pieces of legislation would have mentioned college or scholarships, or those two words together.

Being biologically male is not what grants men an edge in sport. It’s testosterone. The idea that everyone with a Y chromosome has an edge due to that alone is facetious.

I’m no right-winger, but I think this is a much more complex issue than has been perpetuated. Conservatives aren’t the only ones protesting this issue, though their (underlying, prejudicial) reasoning is certainly unique.

If this was about professional sports that might be a valid line of discussion. This is not about professional sports.  This is about students, at school.
