Yeah. Like obviously, none of his kids will ever struggle with money, finding a job, etc. But if any of them were to come out as gay they’d be the first out, highly visible LGBT people in an incredibly conservative organization and would face huge media scrutiny and basically be forced to be a mascot for all UK gay…
She was almost definitely on meth. Smoked so much weed, she regularly hotboxed the entire house (which was mostly a problem because I worked from home and couldn’t afford to be high at 11 am on a Tuesday). And I can count on one hand the number of showers I witnessed her take.
I’m not sure I get the snark over William’s comments (beyond the legitimate discussion about the word “decision”). He acknowledged that the issues would be the result of society’s failures and that’s something we all need to work to change. Given the scrutiny Meghan has faced, undoubtedly in large part because she is…
It’s not just Kyoto, I feel so many tourists who visit, even if they don’t know the customs of another country, don’t seem to understand how to comply with even the most basic of common human decencies. The poppy fields in Lake Elsinore, damages to Machu Picchu, the Dali painting in Yekaterinburg, etc. No, you can NOT…
Lost in the horror of other specifics of this incident is the way it’s casually noted that Echartea just happened to have a gun on his person.

As somebody who managed to graduate without debt from a combination of family contributions and working roughly 30/hours a week through school—I don’t need any money back. Graduating without debt is its own reward. I’ve been able to take risks (like working low-paying jobs with more flexible schedules, or move to a…
Real talk: I make six figures but am 40 years old and STILL paying off my student loans, and currently won’t be able to completely be rid of them until I am almost 50. I live in DC and the cost of living here is INSANE. My husband and I do very well salary wise but we have very little in savings and all our “wealth”…
Don’t care for it. Never have.
There have been many studies showing beneficial results from taking specific vitamins to deal with specific deficiencies or conditions. B12 has been linked to several neurological conditions, B2 to migraines, D to a whole host of issues like osteoperosis and preventing fractures. Vitamins are a classic case of people…
I think the big caveat here is that supplements are very useful for people with deficiencies. If you’re getting an unhealthily low amount of something (for whatever reason) then supplements can help bring you back to healthy levels. I think Vitamin D is the most common example of this.

Like....is it that hard to just put a blurb up on the website about the general history behind the patterns and embroidery and how the designer was inspired by them or whatever? It’s not a difficult thing to do and they’d avoid a lot of this kind of backlash.
