What’s like specially horrific about this is that experiencing that kind of pain is A) a medical condition that B) also requires psychological therapy to overcome and it is possibly caused by C) not being comfortable enough to have sex with the person they are with in the first place. As I started that last sentence, I figured it would read “go see your doctor, so you can continue to meet the needs of your husband”, but what I read was so, so much worse.
