Am I wrong in thinking that’s an LJ and not a TJ based on the rear cargo area? Also, why waste the potential of a Rubi and not just a plain jane Sport? <Shudders in Dana>

Have we just given up on interchangeability of battery packs as a means of shortening “recharge” time for EVs and thereby increasing viable travel distance to something more akin to having to refill a gas tank in 5 minutes or so? Because the skateboard doesn’t seem to attempt to address that. Not that I expect the

What was it with 140mph? I seem to recall a number of cars and car mags of the time made a big deal about 140mph back in the late 80's - early 90's. The VW Corrado comes to mind immediately but it seemed like every magazine review judged performance cars on whether or not they could reach such a mythical speed goal.

My dad bought one of these for his 70'th birthday a while back, ‘93 5-speed in black but with the dark cloth interior and no hardtop. He loves it, even going into his 80's now he loves bopping around in his little sports car and show off his full head of silver hair (no hats!). I love him, but I hope he never becomes

My dad bought a Corvair when he left the Marine Corps in ‘64 and whenever he talks about it, more than anything else he always mentions keeping a full case of oil in the frunk because it leaked/burned so much.

I keep thinking back on this, I have a box somewhere in my garage within which is a modest collection of my hot wheels from my childhood days. I wonder if any of these RVs are still in there, I may have to go digging this weekend.

I don’t have a problem with most “car culture” modifications but the Squat is legit dangerous. A large vehicle deliberately reducing their front-facing line of sight is potentially deadly for those of us who ride motorcycles, drive small cars and pedestrians.

Can we start an online petition to have Val Kilmer, Michael Ironsides and Anthony Edwards do an ad campaign?

Things that scare me: Power lines, springs under tension, and pressure vessels.

I will never not love the GMC RV. Back when I was a kid collecting Hot Wheels I had 3 of these with superhero motifs on the outside and a little prismatic eye-hole on the back you could look through and see Spiderman, Hulk or the Fantastic 4 doing action stuff inside. So freaking cool.

Our mid-80's Chevy van-based RV has a “wet” shower/bath but whatever the heck that is in there doesn’t look anything like mine. Still, overall looks pretty cool, but $24k buys a lot of vintage RV, heck you could get a decent condition classic GMC RV for that kind of money and it would be larger and comfier.

Was waiting for this response, have had numerous friends who pushed their Tritons to over 200,000 miles by regularly changing only 6 plugs.

On my son’s old W112 (C280) on each side there were 2 lo/hi bulbs for running & brake lights, 1 lo watt bulb for a separate running light and 2 bulbs in the turn signal in the rear, not to mention the bulb for the rear deck brake light. So when that dash warning light would come on it was a helluva game to figure out

Cleaning a MAF sensor. So many error codes can be cleared by pulling this thing out, normally with 1 or 2 screws, spraying it down with either MAF specific or just generic electronics cleaner, then putting it back in. But hey that CEL isn’t bothering anyone.

And that’s the essence of it, really. The people who created the NFT bubble did exactly what they came to do, the rich got richer and so on and so on.

Its easy to Monday morning quarterback, but in this case I kind of think you are right.

I see these down here in FL restored/owned by well-heeled veterans that trade for $20k-ish, but that’s a parade-ready full resto slow rolling around St Armands Circle in Sarasota, not something this rough. Could I see it selling for $10k? Probably to the right buyer, but that’s still too much. CP.

As a current Florida resident, this tracks both with typical dumb FL driver behavior as well as the foolishness of our current Gov. Hell we’ve gotten used to it. Wanna solve this problem? Mandate that new cars are manufactured with an automatic speed limiter linked to your flashers. Hit that switch and have fun going

I get what you’re saying and you’re right, its not a zero-sum game. Nevertheless it warms my blue heart that Ronnie and his base are losing out on something that they love and want because of their own short-sightedness.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not a huge fan of cruise lines either but in this case I’ll side with the cruise industry.
