I can’t deny the appeal of this mid-heavy style of cruiser. I’ve owned multiple Sportsters including currently having a hardtail ironhead, plus numerous sport bikes and enduros of all stripes and displacements but the old Softail BadBoy (ugh that name tho) or the Dyna Street Bob were pretty decent bikes, good on

Due to having a vintage HD Sportster as well as an Aermacchi (the two least Harley of all Harleys) I do have need to stop by my local dealership to pick up small maintenance parts and I am always disappointed to see maybe 2-3 Sportsters, 3-4 Softtails and 20+ Baggers and Trikes on the floor. I’ve been saying for

This is why people are foolish to immediately snap pictures of shit falling in their yard from airplanes. Keep it on the DL and keep it forever.

Let’s face it, there’s no good car for driving in traffic in Hawaii because it all sucks. Oh and fuel is crazybags expensive. So go crazy and get a Myers Manx. Since he’s in the Navy I assume he’s good working on boats which is basically what the body of the Manx is. VW simplicity, unique, easy to find parts for.

If you check out the last year-full of episodes of the Two Enthusiasts podcast, one of the hosts (Quentin) worked for Alta through its downfall, if you can find him he might be a good source of info. He also worked for Michael Csyzk IIRC.

Growing up watching things like the Cannonball Run and Smokey & the Bandit I always loved cars but sports cars were too abstract as my family was a typical staid “Pontiac station wagon and Dodge Aries” kind of car family. Then we moved in next door to a guy with a silver Detomasso Pantera and I literally stopped in

No one is coming for your guns bro. Hate to tell you but you’ve been lied to and manipulated by the NRA into believing that rumor.

But they used water anyway, so...huh?

Is it just me or are they asking that foaming cleaner to do a lot of unnecessary heavy lifting? Considering that they ended up spraying the car down with the water anyway (so obviously the window seals were an issue), why not a light spray of water beforehand to get some of the heavy dust & debris off of it and not

You gotta put the K&N stickers in the upper left hand corner of the rear window first, then the sky’s the limit!

Totally worth it then.

But if I were to snort cocaine off of hookers, how far would that get me? And what level of hookers are we talking about?

They weren’t going it alone what with their partnership with Benelli, and considering that they had already invested in manufacturing capabilities in Thailand the capital investment had already been made.

I get that but they have been developing (w/ Benelli IIRC) a 338cc single for sale in the SE Asian markets. Certainly there is no way for them to be able to sell their full on monster cruisers in all but the wealthiest markets, but this was an oppo to expand their brand overseas where bike sales are still in the

In before all of the blind harley haters.

Since taking on the monumental task of restoring a van-based RV with my daughter, I have become much more aware of the idiosyncrasies of old vans styling. As our rig is based upon a 1-ton Chevy G30 chassis we have the longer wheelbase in addition to the dually axle in the rear and it is surprisingly stable although

My wife’s brother was gay, died of AIDS back in 1995 before I met her. Their mom voted for trump and will vote for him again next month. For the man who would unflinchingly do everything in his power to undermine the life and love of her own son.

For what appears to be a well setup legit off-roader I’d say $6k is fair money.  Nice Price and I can’t believe no one else seems to have noticed the tilt indicator below the stereo?  That along is worth a few bucks.

Are we not considering the possibility of keeping the Ronda for the daughter to drive on her own? Is an ‘08 Kia so far behind on safety tech that it is obsolete? I mean we’re not talking about a car from the 5mph bumper-era, this is a car with front and side airbags, crumple zones, probably ABS. No backup camera nor

Replacing a cylinder head on a 1984 Chevy G30 van with a 6.2l diesel engine. Given the sheer bulk of the cast iron engine, removal of the head required someone in front and someone sitting in the passenger seat, and pulling it out through the “doghouse” into the cab and sending it off to a shop for a rebuild and check
