“why lose sales to Jeep and Land Rover? Chevy had to offer something.”

An 85 Lebaron convertible (non turbo sadly) was my first car in HS and while my friends were all driving Camaros and Mustangs, mine was the car we all piled in to on the weekend to cruise up and down Forest lane in the Dallas suburbs because of the drop top action. Heck we could all leap over the gunwales like action

-‘76-’77 Harley XL1000, proper right side shift, no magneto, horsehoe oil tank and the best looking engine HD ever produced. I am a sucker for the torque and powerband of the 4-cam engine. I know its not the first choice for most but I have always loved Ironheads and I think this was the pinnacle of their species

There is a gang of about 10-15 of these that ride around in Sarasota FL at around 2am (and probably St Pete but I don’t go up there at night) and frankly they look like they are having the time of their lives. But then again Sarasota is a circus city so that kind of makes sense. I love bombing around on my little

People drive SxS’s all over the roads here in TN, typically on a motorcycle plate. Just gotta have lights and a tag. No reason why that wouldn’t apply to a Roxor.

This article falls into the grey area of detailed truck information and minuscule detail nitpicking, could be Torch or David Tracy authoring it.

Is anyone else getting a former railroad service truck vibe from that thing? I have an uncle who worked for Chesapeake his whole life and I recall as a kid back in the 70's him having a Ford truck with the rail rider attachments and tall skinny steelies that look a lot like these.

What I loved about living and driving in Houston was there is an interstate in literally every direction. Compare that to the St Pete Florida are where I live now and there is just 1, I-275 running North & South. Even Tampa only has 2. If the interstate is jammed, TS for you. In Houston there are so many alternate

Thank you 2020 for bringing back Balloon Boy, total dick move.

I say keep it on a shelf if for no better reason than as a conversation starter for other gearheads. Hell just this afternoon I found the head of a 10lb sledge hammer with no handle and tossed it in the back of my UTV. Maybe it’ll make a good anvil head. Who knows, who cares, its mine now.

A leased Volvo or Buick.

Is there a joke in here about handjobs? I kind of think you set yourself up for one if there is.

C’mon, this has to be a joke post, right? A Sidekick with the weakling 1.6l, and the 4-door variant at that, for $3500? With 220k miles? Maybe the OG Samurai can account for that kind of price, but not this. I had a 2-door Tracker with the 1.6, great car to tow behind an RV but it couldn’t get out of its own way and

Scrolled down to the comments to see if any trolls were posting.

The first brand new vehicle I bought was a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500, and it did not come with a bumper and I was so dumb I didn’t even realize it until a few weeks later. I ended up getting one put on at a hitch shop, maybe $200. Point being, this was still common until “fairly” recent times.

These were the “performance” cars that cool upper middle class kids in my high school would drive when their dad handed it down after buying a 944 when he got that big promotion at work. Seriously I think there were 5 of these in my senior class size of 120 people. Either this or a Prelude, and one kid had Formula 350

Right, but no. As stupid as this may sound while writing it out, my clicks have value and I am sparing with them. I don’t need to know how the voting is going, since I’ll find out tomorrow when I log back in to the next vehicle in the parade. This ridiculous click-chasing is getting out of hand, I already have to skip

I like it, decent enough car for that money, worth a NP.

This idea is intriguing, I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I understand what you are saying, but in order to do so then they need to have their own app which which to coordinate their fares. They don’t, thus they are using Uber & Lyft’s apps and are therefore subject to the rates that they agree to charge. I agree that it is a bad situation for drivers, but independent
