Is that the little British repair shop show? I kind of liked it but I feel like they leave too much of the process out.

HOLY BALLS THANK YOU I carried with me for years having a neighbor (The Graineys if that helps) who I distinctly recall having a small Pontiac wagon back in ‘75-’76 in my first neighborhood in KY. I thought this was interesting because our family had the full size Pontiac Lemans wagon and the dealership had a cool old…
If that was enough weight to lift the back end of a skid steer loader, it was way more than a Ford Ranger could ever hope to manage. Shoot that would drag the bumper of must full size trucks.
Any list of Quarantine songs that does not include “I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole” is automatically invalid.
The first thing I figured out after getting an old Harley along with the matching FSM back when I was a broke college student: these books don’t read end to end. Like, don’t sit down and think you’re just going to start at the “Tools Needed” section all the way through the wiring diagrams at the back and you’ll know…
I’m all about this. While the old Bullet 500 is more than a bit pokey, its gets down the road OK. And I haven’t ridden the new 650 bikes (because where does a common man like me find a demo model?) but everything I’ve read including Bradley’s piece make them sound very appealing. I did see them both at one of the old…
I missed the drivetrain on his base config description, maybe because he wrote it out as “four wheel drive” like he was buying a mid-sized SUV instead of the proper 4X4 with an all american X in the middle of it.
For all the discussion about which truck is larger, the most important dimension from a practical standpoint is tailgate height. That’s what I cannot stand about the current crop of mid-size trucks.
Embloatening or Embiggenment? I want this letter to my Congressman to sound right.
Great minds think alike, as soon as I read that comment my mind (as it often does on a wide range of topics) went immediately to the Beast.
OK I gotta say it;
I lived in Houston for over 15 years, and watching the African-American horse riding groups come in to town for the LS&R every spring was impressive to see. Don’t mess with Black Cowboys.
I mean, I would ride it too if only because I would ride anything, but it definitely wouldn’t be high on my list. As the saying goes, no matter how ugly she is, if she’s the only naked chick in your bed she looks pretty good.
Once more allow me to sing the praises of more MC content on Jalopnik, thank you Bradley for keeping the flame alive.
That overall shortbody with that engine/trans and 4x4 made for a hell of a rock crawling rig. A buddy had one like that way back when I first graduated college, while I went the practical route and bought the extended cab & 8' bed but the same engine and 5 speed. I sold mine after 4 years for a 4x4 with the 5.9l V8…
I want to love this, I really do because I thought these were special when I was a kid growing up in the 80's. But like most things, don’t meet your heroes, and for something this lovely to have a 90 horse mill mated to a slushbox just means its nothing more than an grandparent of the Toyota Paseo, and there’s nothing…
Two things Jason;
The thing about being willing to swap the engine if and when the OEM explodes, are you ready to? Or if the engine goes kablooey tomorrow will the car sit for 3-5 years while you put change in a swear jar saving up for the replacement parts and labor to install it all? I’ve had more than a few bike projects like that…
Look, I am slowly giving up the double space after a period, but I’ll be damned if you’re gonna take my period away entirely.
Speaking as a white male;
