This was all addressed in the Zach Snyder cut of the film, but we’ll never see that, WILL WE???

I was pleasantly surprised by how great this movie was. Truly refreshing to watch something family-oriented outside of Pixar/Disney that wasn’t a Minions bukkake shitshow.
Yeah, but can we all admit it had structural and tone issues too big to ignore? And why did they allude to his parentage in Paddington 1 and not pay it off in Paddington 2? Additionally, it’s never been previously established that Paddington could make marmalade, yet now he’s making a big enough batch to feed an…
The most Nintendo thing Nintendo has ever Nintendone.
This is quite possibly the most Nintendo thing Nintendo has ever done.
Thanks for understanding! I am really afraid of dogs thanks to a harrowing childhood experience. We have a lot of stray dogs in India. When I was 9, one morning, I went to get milk from the store near our house. There used to be a rabid mob of strays on the route and I used to sidle next to the nearest fellow adult…
I had a colleague once who, at age 25 or so, would not get within five feet of an above-ground pool. Mind you, it was like four feet deep so to avoid drowning in the totally likely event that she somehow “fell” over the five-foot wall of the pool, all she would have to do is, ya know, stand up. Her reason for her…
I saw it this past weekend with the kids, and it’s a perfectly adorable little movie with a pleasantly upbeat and optimistic tone. It also, from what I can remember, had zero shit or fart jokes - unlike at least three of the trailers for kid movies that preceded the film.
I don’t want me no movies invoking feelings and other non-sense. I want me some Jebis shooting lasers and throwing things wit there done mind and such. :)
Thank you for the great work Tom, looking forward to what’s coming next.
The logo on the shirt is probably photoshopped in after the shoot because they’re finalizing designs.
I’m pretty sure it’s less bad storytelling and more the fact that every time anyone dies these days on TV people automatically assume the worst possible scenario has happened behind the scenes, and now everyone feels like they need to assure the audience there’s actually a plot reason for it.
Slide 1: Tyler is actually Voq after being given surgery to be disguised as human and somehow or another had a personality layered on top of his original personality. Not like a Manchurian Candidate deal, because they have a test for that, but also, pretty much exactly like that.
Also The Naked Time had the crew acting all crazy and stuff as well (aired 4th, 7th made). Still either case isn’t as frustrating as when TNG did the Naked Now in their first post-pilot episode.
“It doesn’t help that Discovery still hasn’t managed to build a convincing sense of place in its real reality. “Mirror, Mirror” is from TOS’s second season. By the time it aired, viewers knew enough about the main characters and the universe they inhabited to be able to appreciate the differences.”
I saw Baby Driver the week the news broke, and it was weird and off-putting. But he is playing a villain, so…?
I haven’t seen Baby Driver yet, but I know when I finally do, it’s gonna be weird because Kevin Spacey.
I mean even if you’re not simply looking at producers, actors, or directors, it’s not like you can discredit film crews and shit. They’re all involved in the creation of a film.
I think you give him too much credit. If Trump was somehow able to turn shit into gold, he’d have a purpose. Unfortunately, the effect is far too often the complete opposite where he’s concerned.
