Definitely sounds like it has an open ending, leaving space for a sequel. I guarantee the reason it has taken so long for the Highlander remake to happen is that they’ve been trying to get around the whole ‘there can be only one’ thing.

Look! It's the person who's right about everything!
The issue was the interviewer kind of expected her to know about it and have a sense of humour about it. His mistake was that she didn’t have either of those things, and he found himself trying to dance around the reason why it went viral: it was a hilariously clunky line which was either performed badly, edited…
Although all signs point to next week being lighthearted, it would be amazing if M’Benga got to sing about this very trauma. It could be properly operatic!
I hate it with white-hot passion for the reasons you state. As soon as I hear it I’m taken out of the movie, and picture a sound editor cackling to themselves. Same with the Diddy Laugh (google it), although that one smacks more of laziness.
Great review, but I don’t jive with the credits music being modern rock. One of my favourite things about the movie was the score, so it seems like a missed opportunity to have something wonderfully orchestral here
Personally, whenever starting a TV show, I feel it’s important to watch the first 2 episodes. You get an idea for the style, and as stated above the pilot is never a ‘normal’ episode
‘We’re not going to let that robot die,’ says Captain America, as hundreds of Wakandans lose their lives on the battlefield.
I thought Black Widow was a decidedly middle tier Marvel movie. I enjoyed it but have no desire to watch it again while it’s in cinemas. Plus, it was really grim at the start - necessarily so - but I can’t help but think that once word got out parents were reluctant to take their kids to this. It’s a far cry from the…
Definitely. Jordan was a phenomenon but as I don’t follow basketball I hadn’t even heard of LeBron until this film
I remember coming out of the film finally understanding that Cap's superpower was 'leadership'
I’m about halfway through watching it, as I’ve started reading the original stories. In the books he’s like a musclebound mountain and remembering Mamoa in GoT I figured he’d be perfect, but you’re right: there’s something really un-imposing about him!
‘How about... Superman saves people because he’s a good guy and enjoys doing it?’
I listened to the HDTGM/Blank Check episode and thought it was insane how much praise they were giving it. I thought the Snyder Cut passed the (very lengthy) time well enough, but I found it baffling how much they loved it.
Every interpretation of Joker, at the very basic level, depicts him as a clown. This ain’t that
The one on the right is now a literal Edge Lord so make of that what you will
One thing I really didn’t like about the first WW movie was how her interpretation of love seemed to = f*cking. Chris Pine/Steve is a lot of fun, but he seemed to take away Diana’s agency towards the end. In fact (SPOILERS) in the final act, when she is being crushed by the god of war, she only decides to properly…
Of course, the prequel trilogy are held dear for people of a certain age, whose first interaction with Star Wars was the hype surrounding TPM. Today, the prequels seem to be getting reappraised through the lens of nostalgia, with people realising that they’re not as bad people say they are.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I find I stream Voyager when doing chores, as the cinematography is so bland I don’t even have to be watching it. It’s like listening to an audio play.
I was SO disappointed when the trailer for BG&E2 came out. It had none of the charm of the original. Hopefully the film will take it's cues from the earlier game
