I have grown to hate this thing. It’s so overused that when I hear it I am instantly taken out of the movie and it takes several minutes to get back into the feel of things. It’s been decades since using it in a movie was in any way clever or creative.

Recently rewatched TPM - for a good chunk of the movie, Neeson is head and shoulders (no pun intended) over almost everyone around him in terms of acting. I think it speaks to his sheer talent and experience that Qui-Gon worked as well as he did.
I like to imagine that Redmayne does every interview as a whisper yelling combo like his Jupiter ascending character.
I don’t know why I got such a kick out of it, but when conversations were going on in the main room, and The Sire’s head would turn to look at each person speaking, I loved it... the little details....
