Re: the “how many people actually fiddle with their HVAC controls on a day-to-day basis” question:
You mean like a $17000 Mitsubishi Mirage? Even that’s not going so well.
The thing is, though, the car’s just providing a blank window for Carplay to draw in. Performance and lag of AA or CP is almost entirely on the phone running it, unless maybe you have electrical gremlins sending faulty signals to the headunit perhaps.
I really considered trading in my CR-Z for a full EV this summer, but the range I want just isn’t there, especially in the used market where most are the early 150-200mi cars.
It’s shocking that VW doesn’t sell the GTE in the US now. I know originally, they kept it out because it would undercut the identical A3 e-tron, but that isn’t sold here anymore, so what gives?
state officials have implemented a 2035 requirement that all newly purchased or leased school buses have to be zero-emission.
I don’t really need another Kyogre, but you know what I do need? Marshadow. It’s literally the only Pokemon of the 1000+ that I don’t have because they only gave it away back in like 2015 and I missed the live event.
I doubt it - Audi sells so few A4 or A6 allroads that they don’t even split them out from the sales totals of the regular sedan versions of those cars.
Former SFer - I’ve definitely seen SFPD threaten to tow residential overtimes - a dude on my block kept storing RVs for weeks at a time and got those big green/orange warning stickers on his driver’s window several times. Never saw them actually towed, though - he would rip the warnings off and I guess SFPD never…
This exactly. OEMs refuse to implement modern versions of Bluetooth that allow file/folder structure browsing from the headunit and then blame the phone owner for using their phone to play the file that they want
CarPlay and Android Auto aren’t perfect programs. They have stability issues that manifest themselves as bad connections, poor rendering, slow responses, and dropped connections
From the pic, it looks like it’s blocking the driveway of the white house on the left. That’s definitely a ticket and tow.
Why didn’t you goons buy the dang thing? Was it just too good?
How much time has to pass before it becomes acceptable to remaster or even remake a game?
Counterpoint to the Integra: maybe I just wanted the extra power of a Civic Si but with an automatic and a hatchback. That combination isn’t offered on the regular Civic.
I gotta go used. I can’t think of anything remotely interesting on new car lots today.
I would say the brands that qualify for the credits not offering compelling products are a bigger part of the problem
I’m not gonna sit here and tell you that you should go buy a US produced product just because it’s produced in the US... but the constraints in the law aren’t a problem.
Even if a trash truck actually took 5 minutes, that’s still an extremely minor inconvenience, even less that having to wait 2 cycles of a traffic light for traffic to clear an intersection. There are way worse things to get worked up over
The Prelude did start out as sort of a Civic coupe, then got a little more sporty, but by the early 1990s, was a great handling little car. It wasn’t the most powerful or the greatest performer, but they were engaging and fun to drive.
