Yes, that's true, and it's a bit obnoxious.

I ended up consuming them in mass quantities, all the while shouting "FOR THE GREATER GOOOODD!!" at the TV.

Hulu is also free.

Unlike those examples, none of the competing services have ads, AND are free. If there was TV sans commercials that cost as much or less than TV with, you can be sure I'd go with the former, and wonder what the latter was up to.

This is pretty grim.

Star Wars has always been more sword and sorcery than SF, so I don't think calling The Force magic is inappropriate. :)

But what if the train was filled with adorable kittens!?

Word.

My understanding of all of this (having been a part of it in some capacity) is that the vanity store prices were more a symbolic footnote to the overall narrative of the event. That this article doesn't mention the leaked "Fearless" document is an oversight. More forgivable is that it doesn't (and perhaps can't)

We're all very proud of her.

I really want this shirt. That makes me feel like a huge nerd.

Gene Wolfe is generally less accessible than Gaiman's work. I don't meant that in a bad way, it's just denser, and heavier. I think it's great!

Last Guardian development began in 2009, which isn't an extremely long time. Both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were in development for 3 years, which is fairly long, but certainly not unheard of.

Not possible.

I don't think you know how statistics work.

And from that fact you seemed to be drawing conclusions about the game's population generally; your experience had bearing on the "demographic mapping" of the industry. You agreed with the original statement explicitly because it was a "factual statement".

All labels are made up. And there is something different about the Japanese RPG from the Western RPG. They share some family resemblances, but there's a lot that's different in terms of convention, history, and aesthetic. Of course, this should in no way be used to have some silly argument about which is objectively
