So when I was working for Blizzard in CS in 2012, they laid off about 600 people across the department worldwide.  Those people who got laid off were given severance packages, based on their tenure with the company, which ranged from a few weeks to a few months of pay.  Although this was not optional for those

To be fair, I wouldn’t hold Garfield accountable for balance problems in the Power 9. MtG was a visionary product back when it first came out, but in the first 3 sets literally no one had any idea what they were doing since they were pretty much inventing the CCG style of game from scratch. They came up with a loose,

Blizzard, under Morhaime, canceled the Diablo 3 expansion, not Activision. It’s important to note that even before Activision executives began entering the company, Blizzard was making plenty of bad or questionable decisions.

Another thing to consider is that many of Blizzard’s missteps in recent years had nothing to do with Activision, including, most notably, Titan, which is seen as a massive waste of time and money despite the fact that Overwatch came from its ashes and was a megahit.

So... first they (Activision) cancel the Diablo 3 expansion. Then they say: “Hey you got no games or projects comming out this year, now you have to cut costs!”, they drove Blizzard into that situation.

So, uh, yeah, a lot of this is scary, but can I just bring up one thing?

This is my worry, too; if they knew it was in the pipe, they should’ve said, “Hey, look, it’s coming—just chill out.”

Maintaining silence on the issue makes it seem like this was an unplanned addition in response to consumer outcry, and while it’s always a positive thing for a company to be looking out for its

Yep. People like him for memes but he's really pointless other than that and so Wario has a partner.

On the Waluigi thing... it might be because he doesn’t have his own franchise. The guy doesn’t represent anything other than being Luigi’s villainous equivalent in games like Mario Tennis and Mario Strikers.

I want to nominate “gaming community at large acts like assholes over representation of women in games” particularly regarding Battlefield V

I have never been interested in Fallout at all, but I can’t take my eyes off the trainwreck that is Fallout 76.  I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a product fail in so many different spectacular ways from the launcher uninstalling the game to the support site handing out personal info.

Today, we lament the exclusion of Luigi’s archnemesis, Waluigi.

He’s already an assist trophy, he is not gonna be a fighter.

I was thinking the same thing. What a ding-dong.

Silver Lining: The Kingdom Hearts plot is so batshit that even the most die-hard fan stumbling head first into a spoiler video probably won't have any clue what's going on.

Sad, but also totally expected.

“I’m the man... plain and simple,” he said in a Facebook message.

You’re definitely prodding at something that makes Hitman great with this piece. The only requirement to win at the game is that the targets have to be dead before you can evacuate. Everything else is between you and the hundreds of indendently-operating NPCs in a big sandbox. It can be pure stealth, scooby doo

I have one rule when playing Hitman games - it can’t look like an assassination.

I actually love to combine the two. I first run around the level on my own, discover all I can, get my cover blown a bunch of times, try on every costume I come across, run across a bunch of story missions without following them, leave a bunch of unconcious bodies lying around, and finally kill the targets whichever
