Got it in one.

Yep. It’s one of a number of Japanese kids shows that have basically been going forever. Shin-chan is impressive, but great grandmommy of them all is Sazae-san, which has been airing continuously since 1969.

If it’s fake it’s an amazing goddamn fake. The map, graphics, and a couple of other minor polish things match 1-to-1 with really really early screencaps and videos of Pokemon Gold.

I write an effort post and it never gets approved. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to try and post comments on all on Kinja.

Came here to basically make that comment.

It’s very likely to be a movie follow-up to Digimon Adventure Tri as it left really obvious sequel hooks.

How so? A Japanese company releasing a tweet in Japanese about a Japanese property to their Japanese fans should be tweeted to use a dub only term?

Considering Tri ended with an incredibly obvious sequel hook (ugh) I’m not surprised.

Considering Appli Monsters was excellent on all fronts here’s hoping we get another season that good.

No, because it’s from the Japanese Twitter and “Digivolve” is a word used only in the dub.

I’m rather cool towards FranXX, but I honestly I’m really looking forward to seeing this one in Super Robot Wars.

This show was way more restrainted than Kill La Kill.

I’m about 40% in agreement.

FC5 is interesting because I think the gameplay is better than FC4, but the story’s full-on sky-dive into pointless edginess really does it no favors. As for stability I can’t speak to it since I had no issues (and dodged this glitch thankfully).

This was also my immediate smartass reply.

Moreover most Paladin secrets aren’t nearly as explosive as Mage or Hunter secrets.

You’ve got it in one. One of the core appeals of Pathfinder to the people who made it a success was that it was a return to the way DnD Had Always Been (For under a quarter of the time DnD had ever existed).

Early reports say they took some surface-level stuff from 5e like limits on Magic Items, so it’s in good company with 5e. Whether it’ll be any good? Honestly I’m not hopeful given the history of 3rd edition and its off-shoots.

That’s what my initial point was. The Cuphead stuff was a drop in the bucket, a musing on history and culture that had basically no effect on its overall reputation. KC:D is helmed by a full-on Gamergate racist and that’s been a recurring story.
