You’re correct, CCS takes place not to far from a major city. Sakura and the rest live out in the suburbs, but there are plenty of episodes where they take the train into town and have excitement somewhere downtown.

I don’t recall how the original Cardcaptors dub handled Sakura so I can’t weigh in on her character, but the TV Nelvana dub did genuine violence to the cast and the world. So many of CCS’s strengths are completely obscured and destroyed by the dub. Nelvana aired episodes out of order, made inaccurate dubbing…

I was kind of worried about CCS:CCS, but the first episode was absolutely fantastic. It really feels like Cardcaptor Sakura never left, like it just lead directly into this as episode 71. Clear Cards is a spot-on ringer for the feel of the original series. The cast was completely perfect, and I hope they keep it up.

The second-hand rumor mill story seems to be that Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 were made by the same team, but the team that made Destiny 1 good (the people making the updates and expansions) were different from the “main” Destiny team.

I’ll miss Sun and Moon Ash. It was a fine redesign that fit the series to a “t” and I’ll be sad to see it go.

Not really. In fact Vanilla WoW was actually kind of revolutionary for having stuff like Soulbound gear, IE mechanics such that a person CAN’T just PK you or scam you and steal your stuff.
