By the time it came out and was popular it was the mid 90s which was sorta the end of the satanic panic. It tried to rear up again around Magic, and Harry Potter and Vampire: The Masquerade but it was never to the level that D&D felt in the 80s.  I think we just had a crazy person who had the ear of the adminstration

There’s definitely some macho envy going on between who had the better relationship with Steve. Bucky and Sam are basically the ex’s forced to get along. At least for me, the rivalry is unique enough that I can’t think of many buddy shows that quite had this specific a dynamic.

I dunno, seems pretty natural there’d be some (mostly low-key) rivalry between Cap’s old best friend/sidekick and new best friend/sidekick. And there’s no particular reason they would be friends - after all, how much time have they actually spent getting to know each other? They were probably together a few

Both Felicity and Bucky cut their hair too. She’s a bad influence!

First, let me say this was a well done finale. The picnic scene while Garret’s v/o played was very sweet. An underrated show; glad it had a great run and a great finale.

Reluctantly agree. I’d like for the Cloud 9iverse to continue, but Cheyenne and Bo are the characters I would be least interested in following.

Like...who the fuck PICKED this? Was Sean Spicer not answering his calls?

And WHERE is LeVar Burton?? Honest to god, Jeopardy.

And this is why guys who get all squirmy and scared whenever the topic of #MeToo comes up should always be suspect.

Fuck Middleditch and his show.  Check out Wetterlund’s new series Resident Alien.  It just got renewed for a second season, and she has a role in it.

Smokey and the Bandit. Fast cars, big wrecks, outsmarting cops, bootlegging.

It was perfect.

Yeaaaaah. And I’m super glad it didn’t involve any of that. It would have distracted from what the show was actually about.

She’s not “forgiven”. That’s silly. Monica is empathizing with her. Which is particularly powerful, since Monica herself has developed powers.  And Monica delivered the boys and fought beside them. No wonder she feels their loss.

When Jimmy Woo gets out of the handcuffs, he says. “Flourish,” which is what drunk Vision kept saying at the end of his weirdo magic tricks.

*did not pan out, goddamn Kinja.

I’m glad most of the huge fan theories panned out. But thanks for inserting the Darkhold, guys. I’m really not looking forward to more arguments on whether Agents of SHIELD is MCU canon. Don’t @ me.

Surely it’s Mordo?

I think the biggest shocker for me in this episode is how well they pulled off the Scarlet Witch costume. Not cheesy or exploitative, but still hot as hell. (Pun semi-intended)

Oh missed that even better. Took her two hours driving while obeying the speed limit and stopping at red lights and stop signs.
