That would negate obeying the speed limit and stopping at red lights from your previous post. :-)

Somebody pointed out last two weeks ago that Agatha has Connecticut plates on her car.
Progressives in America need better slogans in general. If you need a full PowerPoint deck to explain what your slogan *really* means, then go back to the drawing board.
This seems like the new “Ralph is Mephisto” theory.
Ironically, I found this article because Perkins linked to it in an SNL review.
I took it the same way. Agatha wasn’t protecting Wanda, she was further manipulating her. Charles’ take doesn’t account for Monica holding her own against Wanda. Monica deflected Wanda’s power with her own.
Your mom sounds cool.
E- “my head hurts” = burgeoning telepathic power? or just mindlinked to mommy’s hangover? either way, MUTANT!! Read more
I don’t think Wanda’s mood is pandemic related. From the interview cutaway, they seem to be playing the hungover mom trope. “Mommy had a little too much wine and did something embarrassing that altered the space-time continuum. Woops!” Elizabeth Olsen channeled Julie Bowen perfectly in that scene.
I think they were playing the scene as “hungover mom sleeps in.” It’s probably late morning and everyone else has been up for hours.
Won’t they go in the Disney Vault next to all the VHS copies of Song of the South? Read more
I thought the same about the pixels.
I’m increasingly less sure there’s a third party involved at this point, still hoping there is and this isn’t the old “Female superhero goes crazy from emotions and hurts people!” trope. Read more
That’s a good point. That would lead me to believe the commercial is about the death of Pietro by Ultron or the death of Vision by Thanos. In that case, Yo’Magic would be Wanda’s power and she’s feeling guilty about not being powerful enough to save either.
The other commercials have focused on moments of trauma in Wanda’s past. During the post-credit scene for Winter Soldier, we learned that Wanda and Pietro are the only two in Hydra’s experiments to unlock their powers and survive. That fits pretty well with the Yo’Magic commercial. The shark would be Strucker and the… Read more
Last week’s “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!” doesn’t so much deal with the prior week’s emotional fallout between Wanda and Vision as much as it dances around it. Read more
Wouldn’t be prudent.
I agree. There is so much good entertainment available, why subject yourself to something terrible. I didn’t watch the first version and I’m not going to watch this version. Once the think pieces of why it failed run their course (I’ll probably read one), I won’t have to be reminded of this movie at all.
I’m tired of reading all the “Mephisto clues” too. It’s like Snoke theories from five years ago. I think a few of them are call backs to the comics, like calling the twins “demon spawn,” but I think we’ll see that S.W.O.R.D. is the main villain of the show.
