SNL decided to just go weird in this episode and it was a sheer delight to watch. I also thought they did a really good job, similarly than with Chalamet, in playing with expectations how they utilized Page as a host. While the monologue did play around with his sexiness, where I got such a kick out of him explaining…

The Buffet method of ‘buy when people are selling and sell when people are buying’ is tried and true. Who doesn’t love a good sale?

The stuff about Monica being affected by going through the Hex twice has to be a pointer towards getting her Photon powers, right?

A lot of haunting images in this ep, but the one that will stay with me is the woman hanging the decoration, stuck in a loop, with a single tear running down her cheek.

I think what helps me is to not think of it as losing 10s of thousands of dollars, since I’m not going to start using that money for another 30 years. Instead, when it does drop, I usually put a little extra in since those funds are basically on sale.
