Can't you call an in-game customer support line and watch your character sit on hold for an hour?
Can't you call an in-game customer support line and watch your character sit on hold for an hour?
With World of Warplanes beta-ing and Star Citizen somewhere on the horizon, I have been in the market for a new joystick. Sadly my Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro had to be retired. Around 2002.
It's pretty much dedicated for running a low power, low cost system under your TV and streaming from your PC. With what they've announced today I can't see anyone wanting to run this on their main desktop. That being said I run Ubuntu for day-to-day and only move to Windows for gaming, so any movement to get devs to…
There are over 100 Linux distributions actively being developed and used right now. There are also various different window managers. The big difference between Linux and the Android frag problem is...hard for me to explain because I'm not great at explaining things.
It's not like Android where it gets upgraded and…
I'm thinking Dedicated Steam box for gaming, then a low priced Streaming Box like the PS Vita.
Everyone kind knew already that a Linux Distro was in the works. Well, not "knew" but it was heavily implied.
It's a free to download Linux distro aimed at TVs.
I love the Dickwolves. I wish I had the shirt.
There's no point having that website up, as in 2 hours it will be f5'd to death.
Closer to my thumb. Closer to my heart.

I prefer my Battlefield games without single player.
I'm pretty upset with what has become of the Battlefield series. They took something really unique and turned it into another yearly refresh.
I need this to happen so bad. I'd love to be able to move all my systems fully over to a Linux distro, but I still play games. Most I can shoehorn in, but some like Guild Wars 2, which has gotten the lions share of my game time over the last year, either don't work at all or are horribly crippled.
I imagine Linus…
I work for a massive conglomerate. New equipment has to go through 3 managers at my location, to the regional manager, then across the country to Canadian HQ. We're not allowed to bring in our own either.
In my experience they're really hit and miss. I have one at home I've had for years and the tape never crinkles or gets stuck, but, I've worked for employers that have them and some of them are really terrible. My current employer has tape guns so bad that everyone just tears the tape with our hands and folds the…
I swear that joystick nub had a life of it's own. 3 minutes after opening the box it's no where to be found, then a year later I found the little bastard in my sock drawer. Solid pads though, last forever!
I didn't know that about the wired pads, I don't have one. It's good to know though!
I wish I knew that I needed a separate bundle when I bought my spare 360 controller. I never play xbox, and it would have been nice if I could use the controller with windows without any upgrades.
Small correction, "Logitech's gaming consoles" should read "controllers".
I have a plethora of controllers in my house including 2 Xbox 360 controllers and 4 DS3's. I always use a DS3 to hook up to my computer for controller based games (e.g. Demons Souls or Ducktales). For the longest time I tried getting the 360…
I've always found electrical tape to be the easiest tape to handle. If someone had a novel way to manage packing tape, that'd be a thing I'd be interested in.
So, does anyone have a novel way to handle packing tape?
You're gawd-damn right it is, and you're gawd-damn right it does! Never had an issue with these, they work great with Windows/Linux
Compatible Bluetooth adapters cost like $5 online so if you already own one with your console, it's got a much lower overhead than a new controller or the 360 controllers.
