They’re disingenuous, I suspect. Although one should never rule out catastrophic stupidity.

I can’t tell if Threat Level Midnight is sarcastic or just catastrophically stupid. With the way things have gone, it’s pretty 50/50.

Any time he says “Believe me” we know he’s lying and he knows he’s lying. The rest of the time I’m not sure he can tell the difference.
