Yes, too many people are going to the movies during a pandemic.

AV Club’s position is that too many people are going to the movies from a health perspective and not enough are going to justify Warner Brothers finacial strategy. There’s no reason those two things are incompatible.

It’s basically impossible for a theater to reliably follow any guidelines.  Once assholes are in their seats, they’re taking those masks off.  So unless you wanna go complain to a put-upon teenager or get in a theater fight, they just aren’t safe places to be.

And yet, whenever I see Republicans on TV they claim Donny supports masks. Always has. He even wore one, once!

This wasn’t a protest about the police...which shows you EXACTLY why the Back the Blue motherfuckers were there. They were there to start shit. This was about sticking up for the family who had their property vandalized because they were black.

This is actually a “Trump talking point”. At recent meetings in his travels he has told attendees to take off there masks, and he has also tried on more than one occasion in recent weeks to avoid answering questions from reporters wearing masks - actually telling them “you’ll have to take your mask off” on live TV.

Well, we wished the MAGAts would do something “to own the libs” that would cause them to kill themselves, and we got the pandemic and idiots who think wearing makes is equal to slavery.

When the only thing you stand for is being against liberals, you get backed into some pretty dumb positions. Which you then have to double down on to prove to people that no matter how dumb you are, you aren’t a liberal.
