In order to save your own larynx, you could record a selection of really annoying dog barks; from high pitched, ear piercing pomeranians, to the bass of mastiffs. A few basset hound “baroooos” would be nice too.

Oh yeah, both looking forward and not looking forward to my second shot. I got the astrazeneca (I’m in Canada), but the major side-effects seem to be the same across the vaccines, for the most part, and variations seem to depend on the person, not the vaccine.
That style is adorable, and flattering for almost all figure types; “lifts and separates” the girls, the diagonal draping on the bodice will make the lower torso look nipped in, and the full skirt should hide a tummy, and allow for noshing at the party.
Vent away!
I’m so sorry you are not feeling well Krispy! A couple of years ago I read a couple of books by a guy called Norman Doidge (“The brain that changes itself” and “The brain’s way of healing”) who outlines the latest in neuroscience, aimed at lay people, and there are some promising treatments happening for chronic pain…
Thanks on the congrats! All of this was a long time coming, and the frustrating thing with older homes that haven’t been well maintained is that you have to spend so much time and money in the beginning getting the infrastructure to acceptable levels; roof, plumbing, wiring, etc. and dealing with emergencies (backed…
I’m finally able to do the maintenance upgrades that I’ve been wanting with my house’s infrastructure. When I first moved in, 20 years ago, it needed a new roof immediately, and I went with what I could afford (and got swindled, as it turns out), and a new boiler and oil tank. I paid off my mortgage last year, and in…
My dad, who was notoriously short tempered, and never suffered fools, gladly or otherwise, was cursed with neighbours with barking dogs. It stopped when he called them at 3:00 a.m. and barked loudly into the phone. It got the point across.
Yeah, that’s my thinking too. And people say “What about sourdough bread?”. Made with “wild” yeast. Sadly, I like beer too.
I’m stubborn though, and it should only be another few weeks. :)
I do want new though; pretty much all of my appliances have been second hand, and new would nice for a change.
At least if I get covid, I won’t die, apparently.
I don’t know about beer bread; a lot of beers have yeast in them anyway, and I haven’t been able to find any soda bread in my neighbourhood. Fortunately, I do like scones and tortillas.
Congratulations on your vaccination! I have had my first astrazeneca (I’m in Canada), and am waiting on getting an auto-appointment for my second one.
Happy UnMother’s Day! Enjoy your mother free day!
Move. That’s the only thing that’s ever worked for me.
... all of it is proprietary technology.
My washing machine packed it in last summer, and I’ve been doing small loads of laundry by hand ever since (every penny has been going into some major house maintenance projects). I am soooooo looking forward to a new washing machine. I have my eye on a GE Adora, which seems to be old fashioned knob operated, although…
I’ve recently come to the conclusion that yeast is the mystery ingredient that has been triggering my IBS for over 40 years now, so yeast breads are out. I love bread.
